Bad day today.... Filled up the car with diesel £118 after using my 5p off a litre coupon (but that should keep me going for a long time), went into tesco to do a shop. Forgot Milk, yoghurt but still managed to spend £36.
Tesco are not playing fair (all of the meats that are on half price or lower - the shelf edge labels are showing the original price not the reduced prices) I was soooo looking forward to a free ham (the finest ham joints were priced at both £4.99/kilo and £9.99/kilo), or them paying me to take a leg of lamb away(priced at £4.00/kilo and £10.99/kilo)?? Will try the smaller tesco on the way to the ice cream parlour tomorrow, I will get one!)
I applied for a new job, just another Market research agency, it wont earn me millions, but it will go towards the overpayments.
I hope everyone else has had a better day. I hope to have better news tomorrow! :-)]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68

Went to the ice cream parlour (as planned) £4.20 spent! 90p spent on 2 tubs of plain yoghurt. So a £5.10 spend today. Could have been worse! A lot worse. Arranged to go and watch an agility training session two weeks tomorrow, I won't be able to do it, but I plan to take my friend Julie, she may save £12 a month on her gym membership??? So tired, an early night required!]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68

I've not filled up since January though Helen! So on a weekly basis it's under £20 per week! X]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68

;-( My payslip is not available online. Last time that happened I didn't get paid when I should have.
Please, please please let it be online by tomorrow (otherwise I will have to call payroll).
Anyway a no spend day -except a £2 in the collection plate at church - we have been to a funeral. I have also been sorting things out to sell on Facebook and the next free listing weekend on eBay.
I was shredding paperwork and came across a uni file, Maths from the first year of my BEng in Civil Engineering... How on earth did I manage to do that, and secondly, what was the point because outside university it was never used!! Anyway it's all been shredded and is in for recycling!]Mortgage 1. Hi Andi,
So sorry you were at a funeral. I have been meaning to ask you how your BIL is so I really hope it wasn't his
I am waiting on the next free listing day too. It makes such a difference on the profits when you have lots of small things to list.
Hope the payslip turned up xx0 -
Hi Lily,
The funeral was one of my lovely neighbours, she passed away due to a stroke a week last Saturday. BIL is still in hospital and not well, BF went in to see about getting the test to see if he was a bone marrow match, but he was told, your brother is not strong enough to undergo the surgery at the moment, so we won't do it yet? Last Monday they didn't think he was going to make it through the night, but he did, thank goodness. BF doesn't want to speak about it, so I am dancing on eggshells, trying to avoid that topic!
On the plus side, I received a letter about PPI from Nationwide, we would like to review your complaint. So I followed the guide, went for the mis-sold option as the fos have already adjudicated on the decision not to pay the PPI out. That has been posted, an 8 week wait to see if I can have another OVerpayment!
Payslip still not showing online, spoke to first direct-no pay due to go in tomorrow :-( Call to payroll required!]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68

Not been updating my diary since Wednesday so thought I best step up to the mark!
Got paid Thursday. (Yay) pension and some mystery shopping, and got a £30 payment from imutual. Transferred cash to Santander including my extra £160 payment from 2 weeks ago, increased the op on the mortgage from £200 to £250, that's due to leave the account on Monday, then the normal mortgage payment goes out Tuesday.
Withdrew £100 cash on Thursday, £40 went on the dogs baths, £30 was spent in tesco on the essentials for hopefully the week (otherwise we are eating out of the freezer! Eek)
Needed to clean the double oven, so £20 spent in home bargains (2 boxes of oven pride, one for each oven at 2.99 each, some chocolates for Easter (little man loves cream eggs, but our HB had sold out, so I splurged on 10 cadburys bubbly bars for £2, a pack of 3 caramel eggs for 79p, a bag of mini eggs for 49p and salt pepper, cleansing wipes, mouthwash, toothpaste, smarties cupcakes and cleaning stuff.
Then I realised I had forgotten yoghurt so just under £10 spent on yogs and eggs for us to hard boil and decorate!
Had a visit this week from my ex sister in law and niece. :-( She needed to appeal a decision by the dwp that she is fit for work. She is not, she has had one knee replaced, is waiting for the other one to be replaced and one hip to be replaced! I suggested she visit CAB or Welfare Rights, but I think she has mental health issues too, cos she said she was too scared to go and talk to people she doesn't know about what is wrong with her... TBF that is probably why she failed the medical! Anyway that is done!
Got some furniture advertised in the local paper, a gentleman is calling between 2 and 3 to view it and hopefully collect it! That will be £100 extra to march's fund, although it won't be paid in until April! :-(
Not updated the mortgage bit of the signature yet, as I won't know until Tuesday what the current balance will be?
Oh and I have 45p in my purse until next Thursday.. Fingers crossed Dad gives me £10 for Easter!]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68

Ooh, £11.47 payable in quidco, that, the £30 imutual and the £100 for the furniture will be an excellent start to April!]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68

Good morning, not been on for a while, so thought I best check in!
I was online (tinternet banking) after payday and my mortgage was showing as £20,667 which was a HUGE DROP FROM LAST MONTH, (which was £21,998) then the following day it went down to £20,420???? I was a bit concerned as I had only made a £250 overpayment last month, as well as the £247.07 normal payment.
I asked Dad, if he had made an op? He said no, he doesn't have my mortgage account details, only my current account details.
I worked out that the £667 to £420 was my normal mortgage payment. (Not rocket science, but it took me a while).
I am going to call my mortgage provider to make sure it's correct and find out why? Roll on 9am when they open.
End of the tax year coming up, got all the paperwork I need to get my refund, circa 6k, as my pension back pay was paid in a lump sum, it took me into the higher rate tax bracket! ;( as the payments went back to 2009, I think I am due around £6000 back. Nice big overpayment!
Have left myself £15 short of the budget til the end of the month, due to buying the little man some crocs for the summer. But I am sure I can make that up with the slush fund!
Car wouldn't start yesterday, called MB roadside assist, the engineer called me and said he was in tynemouth, 40+ miles away and would be with me in an hour, he arrived, 2 mins later said, battery was dead, he told me £144 for a new one fitted! Eek. I scurried into the house, laid my hands almost immediately on the warranty paperwork, and discovered it was covered. Phew, £144 would have decimated my meagre budget!
Decided to sell some of little mans toys, he insists on keeping everything for the memory box. The said memory box is the loft! But there are two battery operated ride on trains, and a battery operated ride on motorbike to go!
Update on mortgage later on!]Mortgage 1. At start £46,000, may 1996 jan 11 £27363.58  Dec 11 £25,289.00 December 12 £21,882.68
