Feeling yucky today so took the day off sick, not achieved much but have managed to deal with the mouldy patches upstairs: must get that fan fitted in the bathroom. Off for an early night in the hope that I feel better in the morning nite all.

Evening all. I've decided I'm having a lazy evening tonight. No flying or anything like that of any kind..although I know I have to wash some towels otherwise we won't have any for the weekend  I really can't wait for the warmer weather when I can put the washing straight on the line instead of on the airer indoors.

Didn't get any flying done today as we went off to Croydon Costco and WinYip for the day where I could spend lots of DH's lovely money..hehehe Was very good and only got what was on the list - honest!!!

Saw the mouse in the garden this morning while I was watching the birds over breakfast :D It was weird as the cat was watching him too but from outdoors and the mouse was not afraid at all, but then the cat wasn't that bothered either..lol The chaffinch has been back to the garden for her supply of niger seeds, plus the usual reprobates have been down and fed. Mr and Mrs Dove are really getting crafty now, they have taken to sitting on the bathroom windowsill outside and cooing when they know someone is in there.. Not a good habit as I can see them sitting on the open window when the warmer weather gets here..that could be a sight to see..lol

Well DH hasn't done anything about phoning up the insurance company regarding the ceiling and upstairs carpet..He doesn't even show any signs of going to do this either. Obviously he likes living with a holey wet ceiling and a ripped carpet..

Popped a request into my drs surgery, this morning, for copies of my medical records. So once I have got them I can sort through what paperwork etc to send with my ESA forms. I am taking it slowly but it isn't as overwhelming as I thought it would be. Maybe it's because I have a lot of paperwork etc backing everything up this time.

Am hoping that tomorrow I can get myself into gear and get some flying done. I really need to sort out our bedroom - it has become a dumping ground for unknowns!

Tomorrow, I need to get some of the lists done as well as getting a gift for the host family DD will be staying with (I did buy some things but between DD and myself we have changed our minds!!! But the local chemist has some nice Welsh things) , I also need to go to the post office and get Euros changed into smaller notes (Not fussy on the staff in there!!)

And I REALLY need to phone the doc's or I won't get an appointment when I need one!!

Not managed much this week -we've been very shortstaffed at work which is frustrating. I have had a UTI for over a week now - the set of a/b's I was initially given haven't worked so it's back tomorrow..... and I think I'm getting a cold!

On a positive note DD1 was at the orthodontist today - and is DELIGHTED because she doesn't need to use the elastic bands anymore!

I fiorgot to tell you - I have another critter to add to my critters spotted list - a badger cub wandered in front of me (clearly not au fait with Valli's driving skills) so I habve now, in my lifetime, seen two live badgers!

Anywaty, blocked sinuses...joy. And children are only allowed to talk to my left side...unfortunately I still answer the phone with my right ear...then apologise to caller "I beg your pardon, could you repeat that please? I'm so sorry, I can't hear properly in my right ear at the moment...I'll just swap the receiver..." :rotfl:

Anyway I have taken Italy's finest medicine (Pinot Grigio) so I'm hoping for a kip tonight, instead of dreaming about how hard it is to teach how to work out fractions where the numerator is greater than 1...

Hi and hugs to all. Sitting up writing lesson plans for tomorrow; gained 2 lovely new students last week at college, but they are 9am and 10am tomorrow hence the late stuff. It was my late working day too, and to top it all my manager did my annual observation on my 3.45-4.45 student then proceeded to give me feedback right up until the next student appeared, so I had to practically type his lesson plan in front of him - very professional!!

    Still, yesterday went thus:
    - gym x 2
    - went to bank to sort out new account (long wait; not very helpful - advice but I can do it over the net)
    - filled bird feeder
    - moppety moppety mop of kitchen and bathroom floor
    - decluttered lots of kitchen
    - polished rest of bathroom
    - put away floordrobe
    - lots of communication with teachers/senco of recently assessed private student, time consuming and unpaid but good networking for future work
    - ventured down garden in the 45 mins of sun we had, watered greenhouse and admired frog spawn in pond. By the sound of the weather forecast, I'll have to put that in the greenhouse as well!

Can't remember what else I did!
