Loads of affordable price vibes going to Piggers.
Lounge and hall all done (though I didn't lift the large dragons, just dusted round them), and also the bathroom is done, ahead of myself to have a day off flying tomorrow.;)
I possibly won't get on here tomorrow, or if I do, it'll be a very quick visit, so Ostara Blessings to you all, and I'll be back to normal routine Thursday.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Well, the house got cleaned from top to bottom again today, even though I went out to my U3A group this morning. DH helped with the hoovering while I polished all the downstairs windows, inside and out! Not sure if it was worth all the effort, judging from the agent's report on the buyer, but we'll see. We decluttered ourselves to the GC for "free" coffee on the loyalty card - have had considerably more than our money's worth already this year :money: - and came back with some lovely primroses to replace the ones that the Magnificent Seven have trampled on
I must admit to having cheated with the ironing - didn't get it done last night so just threw it back in the tumble dryer this morning and shut the door on it. I promise I will sort it out this evening while waiting for our meal to cook
The eB@y sales for this week are clocking up very nicely, so I'm hoping to have a few more parcels to send off and a bit more money in the PP account*kerching*
Tomorrow will be spent mainly on paperwork and/or doing crafty bits.
Reasonable price vibes for pigpen and anti-sniffle vibes for bossy are on their way to you. LW, if you need any more spoons there are still some here for you.
Having watched Paul Holloway last night, I think I shall teach DH to make bread: he has big hands like PH and could put plenty of weight into kneadingI have a breadmaker but the blade is no longer non-stick and the loaves always get stuck and end up with a huge hole in the bottom (is it possible to buy new blades? - the BM is otherwise in good working order) but I do also enjoy the satisfaction of making bread by hand.
Off to make lasagne now (at DH's request) :j
Hope everyone will get time to relax this evening - as a group, we seem to be flying very well these days and deserve some time off occasionally

Ebay. Search on blade and the make and model and you'll be amazed at how many people there are who supply them.
GWS vibes Bossy, Affordable Kitchen Ceiling vibes for Pigpen and Happy Ostara vibes Lamwolf.
I cream-crackered myself yesterday flying, so I've got sparkly appliances and I'm a bit tired today. The only stuff I've managed today is the 'duster-on-a-stick-down-the-back-of-the-radiator' type, but as it's never been done in the nearly 20 years I've been here, it's valuable vintage stuff that's coming out. I've also decluttered the final two episodes of Spiral from iPlayer. *sniff*Better is good enough.0 -
Hello all
throat still achey.
have to go and mark books and do work stuff. House has little heaps everywhere; we are clearly homing critters that live in A4 paper piles.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Good evening all, hot drinks for Bossy Moo and affordable quotes for Pigpen xx
On my list is *Phone the garage..........which I have been putting off for a couple of weeks!! One of the back windows would only shut if you double locked the car.............Well, today, I tried to have a look at it after looking at the manual, and then couldn't shut it even when double locking!!!
So the garage have been phoned and I am now car-lessI don't mind, school is within walking distance but I think I may need to borrow OH's van to take DD to school for 4:00 Friday morning:eek::eek:!!!) And we are supposed to be going to the caravan on Monday for the Easter hols after DD comes back on Sunday, but not sure that will be possible now....................hey ho, more time for flying:)
At least that's one thing off my list.............0 -
