Morning all. I've hoovered swept and mopped through house this morning, put a wash on and that's it. Yesterday DH sorted washing the curtains in the kitchen so that's something else off the list. Paid stuff AGAIN now, sooo busy at the moment. Right cuppa first.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hugs Kazw.

I lost it this morning as well, as we have a blocked kitchen sink and a blocked shower drain. So, obviously they're related and I suspect I know exactly who is to blame. To cap it all, the wretched Chinese supermarket around the corner was just a tad unhelpful this morning, no longer sells vinegar in one gallon containers and has therefore flogged me caustic soda. It may have been a mistake on my part to use it. We'll see.

Further carpet washing will be required later. Dog leaks every night now, and how she manages to avoid the plastic sheets in under all her beds I don't know, but she manages it every night.

OH has a deadline today so I am on my own regarding problem-solving, although we are going to collect some bought Fleabay stuff together later, so if the weather holds that'll be a trip out.

What an exciting life I lead.
    Better is good enough.

Note book out and list made for if I go on tour, where I am welcome, it is about 3 hours to piggers/ I guess bossy is about the same amount of time from here, so that should be far enough away, I'll do some flying in return for 1 overnight stop!

Kazwookie, you'd be very welcome here too - we're not as far from your home as either pigpen or bossy (though in the same direction as them) so you might even be able to visit us for just a day or use our house as a stopping-off point before going on to visit the others. Or why not make a week of it, while you're at it!!! :D

Horrid grey day here today. No chance of hanging washing out and bringing it in drier than when it came out of the WM, but I am doing 3 loads and will drape the garments over the radiators for a few hours and make believe that I live in a Chinese laundry. The house is still clean and tidy from yesterday, and DH is going out between about 12:30 and 3:30 so I can either get on with work or catch up with sleep. I can't concentrate on paperwork if I'm tired (and I'm sitting here yawning as I type) so I reckon it's a no-brainer as to which will happen. I've certainly got no brain after yet another broken night's sleep. Maybe I'll just curl up on the sofa for an hour before DH goes and see if that does the trick.

Drain unblocked. 1kg caustic soda, several kettles of boiling water and one sink plunger did the trick.

    Afternoon
    Very funny Mrs MP
Honeybear glad the drains are unblocked.

    I've
    Emptied WM
    Cleaned bathroom
    Hoovered everywhere
    Mopped kitchen floor
    wipe bathroom floor
    fed the birds
swept out the grate and relaid the fire

Not bad really as I felt on a bit of a go slow.

Just need to clean the shower screen when the vinegar has done it's thing and clean two sinks.

Having a lunch break now though with PMQs and the budget
