Pay One Debt 2012! challenge #67 - £235.07 / £375.18 :T0 -
Ironing done
Lasagne cooked and 1/3 eaten
Victoria sponge baked while the oven was on ready for afternoon tea tomorrow (we like a piece of cake with our afternoon cuppa!)
Now to sort out that bit of the family tree...
Thanks for the hint about BM blades, Honey Bear - I'll look on eB@y tomorrow.0 -
Aww kaz, you could hide out here? You'd have the place to yourself!
Well, DS has had MIL in tearshe'd been naughty and had several warnings (what has got into him lately? He's usually an angel in comparison) but ended up being taken to bed. He still had his cuddle and seemed to be coming round but then went past the point of no return. He spiralled into the "I want my daddy to come home, I'm looking for my daddy" routine. MIL hasn't heard that in full swing before and it really does hurt the first few times, so it really upset her. Me, heartless beach that I am, have heard it all before, so just carried on as I normally would... Poor MIL. She is still reeling, while that little monkey is fast asleep like nothing happened...
Anyway. Showered and hair washed for early start. Packed. Transport arranged. Vaguely know what I'm doing
Oh and I hung the washing up - indoors as it was late and we are forecast more snow tomorrow. Hope they've got tht wrong...

Pigpen affordable vibes for your ceiling quote, and I hope your ankle is ok.
Natty hope your ceiling and carpet repairs go ok as well.
Kazwookie I feel your frustrations!
Valli get well soon
I'm in this week again. Thanks for the list Natty and thank you to Dusty for last weeks. Yesterday I did 2 hours of ironing to clear the basket and did a basic clean of the kitchen. Today I have done no flying because I've been out for a meal with OH before he has his knee operation tomorrow. I will go and wash the dishes and then go to bed, so tired today.
Not sure I'll get much flying done tomorrow because I will be visiting OH in hospital. I will try to do something though afterwards.0 -
Sorry, I have missed all the action on here today, have read through fred, Pigpen the photos are lovely ceiling vibes on their way,Bossy extra hugs for you and milbonnie_bumpkins wrote: »
inonafan & mrs m-p I'm another family history fanatic. You might even say freak!
Me too! I still remember the rush of excitement of making first contact with my Mum's half brother in New Zealand (by email at 4am ) after looking from my biological grandad since I was 17, the internet and forums made it possible to find the surviving family.
Time to find my list and to see what can goThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

HM soup for dinner last night with some of my whoopsied veggies from last week with HM croutons with some Mediterranean style bread that was just on the right side of the compost bin:D:D another 24 hours and the compost bin would have had best part of half a loaf :eek::eek:
Gave my BR floor a good hoovering again today, it's a sign I am spending too much time in one room again
Trying to claw back as much money as poss atm, successfully managed to leave the house two days in a row without my purse, so no "nipping in for a quick loaf" so kids are having cereals or 10p noodles out of the cupboard when they are feeling peckish.
At horse-piddle today, so need to take purse just in case I get forced into their carpark if I run out of time finding a free parking space nearby :money:
Going to try to go back to sleep now instead of flying
Night night :wave:The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Morning folks
Strike day 2.
Cat fed.
I'm fed,
Kitchen cleaned
My ironing done.
Note book out and list made for if I go on tour, where I am welcome, it is about 3 hours to piggers/ I guess bossy is about the same amount of time from here, so that should be far enough away, I'll do some flying in return for 1 overnight stop!
Goodness knows how long I'll be able to hold out for as I hate mess etc all over the place and since flying here, the place is decluttered, tidy etc
Off to Stoke Manderville now for specilist eye test........hope they are on time as I hate the waiting around......the test itself is fine.
