Did all my chores in town and visited the GC for some compost - possibly got more than I need as it was on offer.

Washing on the line but it is cold so not sure it is drying much.

Piggers what are you planning on doing in the firs 10 minutes of being in OH's mother's house to make yourself unpopular?

been in attic found 2 boxes of one of the childrens ornaments, they've been culled down to about 4 nice ones (incase they ever ask for them) the rest are going to be washed rewrapped and taken to the CS.

[STRIKE]Declutter and [/STRIKE]wipe the worksurfaces
Level Two
Wipe the table
[STRIKE]degunge the fridge[/STRIKE]
Wipe the units [STRIKE]and large appliances[/STRIKE]
Level Three
wipe any drawers that are grotty and cluttered
Wash the windows and sills
[STRIKE]Run WM's and DW's through a clean cycle.. don't forget to scrub out the drawers and filters.[/STRIKE]
Extras

• Deweb and polish
• Clear out a cupboard of junk!
• Wash any curtains/table cloths that need it
• S&S the hob & oven

Twinkly Tuesday - Living room, hall, stairs and porch!
Level One
Declutter ALL the floors!!
[STRIKE]Clear the mantle of junk[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Dust those flat fluffy surfaces
Vacuum/sweep all the floors.. stairs too!
Vacuum/sweep under furniture you can safely move!
Vacuum sofas
Level Three
Wash the windows
[STRIKE]Wash any soft furnishings that need it[/STRIKE]
Wipe down ALL the paintwork!

Well.. the ceiling is coming down.. :eek: It is a massive section and spans 7 joists and every nail has come out so it won't just push back up.. I have a guy ringing about giving me a quote for fixing it.. *cry* there goes my deeds transfer for another month

Just waiting for MIL to bring kiddies back (assuming she gets DD too???) need to pack some bits and bobs for tomorrow as away overnight with work. Goodness knows how we'll get from Leeds to London, across London, checked into hotel at Tower Bridge then back to Covent Garden for the restaurant in 3.5hrs :eek: suspect we might end up being late

Ooh and no doubt the tube at 5.30pm will be armpit heaven... _pale_

Hi folks

How are you all doing today? Sending a virtual hot toddy to Bossy; an unexpected windfall to Piggers for her ceiling and a whole load of love to everyone else - take only what you need, mind (Native Indian proverb).

Been at the paid stuff, walked the pooch and dinner is made and in the oven. Just had the kids help me tidy up the lounge and kitchen, do the pots, sorted out dirty laundry into piles and WM is now on. They've both been out to refill the wood basket and coal scuttles, so fire is now lit. Me and DD are both in our leopard print onesie's so I don't think we're doing much else tonight.

Let's have a look at this list then and see how we are doing ...

The 2 naughties keep emptying the water out of the bucket under my drip and splash about in it pretending to be ducks and quacking.. How can you tell them off?

OH doing dinner.. I fell down the stairs earlier and have hurt my ankle so standing to do food is not going to happen.
