It was for Natwest/RBS.... after several WEEKS.

However if the cards are not working at a cashpoint then there is a basic error somewhere.

Agreed, although I checked the 6 digit BIN and its coming up as Royal Bank of Scotland.

Indeed, 475145 does show up as an RBS BIN. Maybe someone's mistyped it while making the new cards... Does anyone's card actually work now?

Apparently mine was one of a defective batch of cards and I'm being issued a new one.

They offered £30 as a goodwill gesture.

It'll be interesting to see if it comes with a new number

You're lucky as they haven't got a clue what I'm talking about and advised me their Something or other team clock off at 8pm and will be ringing within 24 hrs.

Tried it 5 times while on the phone to them and explained the card keep saying technical issues.

Mine was shipped today, hope mine wasn't part of the defective batch.

Has anyone written a cheque and had it go through okay since they switched from regular Flex to FlexPlus?

I wrote one last night, and figured as the account number is the same that it should be okay...

I checked this with NW and they said it would be fine.

    Hi guys,

Did you get your new cards yet? Any joy with them?

Still waiting for my first card nearly 2 weeks after upgrading, although they admitted to me in a secure message they had "technical issues" initially...
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Well in the end finally got a phone call from NW complaints team yesterday regarding my card not working.

She said I had a damaged card sent out and asked what I wanted in return as the new card is in its way, she said does £10 sound ok I said well TBH I knew that Andy on this thread got £30 so pushed my luck and told her that posters on The Internet were getting £35 so she said is £35 ok then I said yep that's fine.

So I got £35 for basically not being able to login online and if I needed to take money out I had my old flex direct card which was still valid.

Ps just looked on NW and the £35 still haven't reached account.
