Same here, and yes I can log on with my memorable information.
My account seemed to update on the day after I applied for the account.
I spoke to NW customer services yesterday and they said my card was active and they could see no problems.
Has anyone else tried to make a payment with the card? I've tried to add the new card to my PayPal account and it says 'contact your card issuer'.
I'm regretting cutting up my old card now - serves me right for being efficient.0 -
Quick update:
I've tried my card in a cashpoint and a chip & pin machine today and it was declined both times.
Has anyone with a Flexplus card managed to use it successfully?0 -

Mine also still not working but I've come to the conclusion it will work when my Flex Direct expires in 19 days.
I could be mistaken but did the letter not say something about using your old card in the meantime or something along those lines or did I dream it.0 -
Indeed, there don't seem to be any reports of people with new accounts having this issue. I should be getting my card in a few days, I'll let you know.0

My letter says:
"Please start using this card immediately and destroy your old card".0 -

I'd be calling them and asking them to sort it if I were you.
I'm dreading my card arriving now.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -

I've been unimpressed by their response so far. "We have no idea, we're looking into it" is less than reassuring.
On a positive note, the Flexplus customer services number gets through to a human instantly (and there's a geographical number to call as well as the 0845 number).0 -
What are the first six digits of the new FlexPlus cards? I'm wondering if that could be related to the problem.0
