Don't worry about the chart fred as sometimes life gets in the way.
Hope your mum is on the mend really soon.
Hope your mum is okay fred :(

Thank you both - she's much better than she was and very glad to get home, just got to try to get her to drink more to combat the side effects of the iron tablets the hospital gave her to take.

Been wondering how things are for your mum and yourself fredsnail.

    (Thanks for the charts).
  • Hello again! Back from my 3 week holiday in the US - had a fantastic time. Varied weather as it was 30C when we arrived and then we went to the mountains where it was 0C!! Absolutely freezing on those days but some of the most impressive views I have ever seen. The best news is I weigh the same now as when I went! That is most impressive for a long holiday in America whn you have no cooking facilities! I was naugty some days and had to have cheap and cheerful fast food quite often but was really conscious of trying to be better rather than a splurge mentality - so skipped the fries and just had chicken burger and went to walmart to stock up on fruit and sandwich making things for lunches. We hiked several miles most days too so it just goes to show everything in moderation really can work.

Am really proud of myself as I've maintained for a while now - really hoping I've cracked it!

Please can I join the exercise challenge? - need to do 20 miles.

So glad your mum is on the mend fred and well done to everyone who has lost weight the last few weeks!

Back from hols and pleased to say I've only gained:

    2lbs

I think this is due to eating foods I'm intolerant to over the last few days as there was nothing else available. If so, then once the toxins are out of my system I should soon lose the extra weight. Did absolutely loads of walking and ate salads most of the time so didn't do too badly.

    Walking: 20 hours
Fred please could you put me down for the exercise challenge and as an Early Bird

Glad to hear your mum is on the mend

Fred, glad your mum is feeling better. My step-dad is due for surgery tomorrow. I'm going to visit my mum so can keep her mind off it.

Me and the wife went for a lovely spa day today...did 4 km on the treadmill in the gym, and 1000m on the rower, so another 3 miles off my challenge total.

Did a bit of swimming as well, but it was mostly floating around so not adding that. Had an amazing massage afterwards :)

I'm going away for the week tomorrow, so obviously won't be able to WI. Have a great week folks, I'll see you when I get back.
