Back at the gym this week, a bit of a struggle after 3 weeks off! 5 hours to add to the challenge - spinning, bodypump, aquafit, swimming and walking the dog.
  • Well done Jess, that's impressive!!

Another 1 hour for me please for a 4 mile run last night.

Having a rest day today as I have bit of knee pain and been on my feet all day at work! Shall keep it rested as much as poss tonight and hopefully can get another run in tomorrow night. Really tempted by a glass of wine tonight but its weigh in tomorrow so we shall see...

    Hello everybody,

Since last week my weight has STS. As with last week, didn't expect that; thought there would be an increase. Been doing my usual exercise pursuits but with more variety. Two bicycle trips meant walking home 1-2 miles each time (bicycle problems). A bicycle trip to return something faulty. Another trip to look for blackberries. Walking to and from a local bicycle shop to assess cost of bicycle repair versus a new bicycle. New bicycle purchased and part broke in days so went back again. Now maybe another fault:mad:. On top of this, other expenditure too much this month. Anyway, will have to do some foraging...

    Good luck folk.

Another 1 hour cycle to add to the challenge today. Think I might have overdone it this week after a few weeks of laziness - feeling achy.

Dannie, might go looking for blackberries tomorrow, I love them - yum!

  • Happy weigh-in today, 2.5lb loss! Glad I didn't give in to the much wanted wine and chocolate last night. Very unusual for me as I tend to maintain but hopefully the running is catching up with me! I've also lost half an inch off each thigh and legs are much less wobbly so pleased with the progress.

Another 1 hour for the exercise challenge as I did another 4 mile run tonight (first one in the rain - not so enjoyable!) Might treat myself to a few M&Ms after dinner but then back on being good as I haven't got time to do any more exercise till the weekend.

Good luck with the weigh-in everyone!

well done Froddo and Nicky - brilliant weight loss you 2!

    Exercise this week
Mon 40 mins swimming with the kids
Tues 2 & 1/2 hours gardening - well more like jungle clearance :0
weds 1hr 10 mins at the gym

so another 4 hours 20 mins for the challenge please Fred :)

Not weighing myself at the mo - seeing it go up and down , up and down just makes me fed up and I eat more- so I'm going to focus on all the exercise which puts me in a positive mood instead.

    Hi jess444,

Didn't actually find that many blackberries (100gr) so still a little early for me. However, good to check out for maybe when in a few weeks they will be more abundant.
