Don't beat yourself up (though it's easier said than done) you can't change the past, so focus on the future that you can control.

Is there any fruit or something else you can grab instead of a biscuit?

I try not to buy biscuits or chocolate because if I buy them I have to eat them.

I haven't been back on the scales, after all, it's only been two days.
I'm pleased t report that my tummy feels a little less bloated despite a handful of Pringles and one digestive biscuit yesterday.
But as for courgetti? Nah, bitter and not nice although I didn't feel hungry after eating a bowl of it with a little bit of bologna ice sauce. For dinner.
Off out painting today and will be bringing fruit snacks.
Good luck every one for your weekly weigh ins!

I'm going to post my weigh-in now in case I forget again... and it's a great 3.5 lbs off! (Kind of cheating though as I have had a stomach bug since Friday eve and only eaten a few slices of toast in all those days :o Will prob put some weight on again once I'm able to start eating properly. But hey, at least losing a few pounds in something to be positive about whilst experiencing stomach cramps galore).

Welcome Artytarty, and good luck with the weight loss; there's lots of support available here. Are you doing SW again, or just trying to eat more healthily in general?

Samiszel, wow, that's awesome :T (apart from the stomach bug part, haha!). Hopefully you're feeling better now, it sounds horrible, but every cloud, eh?

durham_mim labyrinthitis sounds horrible. Is it something that you always have? Still, 2 hours dancing is good going - what type of dancing do you do?

I'm -1.2lbs this week, despite another weekend of massively over-indulging in both food and drink. No more holidays planned for a while, so I'm going to try and regain focus. I think it's been a while since I managed the 5lb challenge. I got several comments from my friends at the weekend about my weight loss, but also my apparent new-found confidence, which was something I hadn't really considered before. I do feel sooo much better than when I was a big blobby person, lol.

I randomly went for a run last night (I haven't run for years) and did almost three miles without stopping or walking, which I'm still amazed by. My general fitness must have improved due to cycling 11 miles a day (for my commute since I moved house in the autumn), plus there's less of me to haul around now.

And final bit of good news... I bought a few new dresses last week. Size 14, which makes me ridiculously happy. That's not even a plus size!! Shame my thighs are still far too chunky to get in that size jeans (but I basically always wear dresses now anyway, so never mind).

Hope everyone else is enjoying these kind of successes. When I need motivation, I like to have a read of this thread on the MFP forums: Unexpected results of weight loss

Thanks in advance for the chart, fredsnail :D

    Well done Svenena, that's great!
No I'm not doing SW this time even though I qualified as a life member due to meeting my target.
I think sugar is the enemy, not fat, contrary to the diet they follow.
I'm a snacking and occasional ginger so trying to curb that and eat a lot more veg and fruit.

    Hi everybody,

Just 26 miles (indoor cycling) for the exercise challenge. I did not weigh myself today as the thought of it felt depressing. However, the week had gone fairly well regarding both "diet" and exercise (indoor/outdoor biking but less gardening due to the weather). On the subject of clothes, I purchased some better fitting jeans due to weight increase. Money saving at £1 (charity shop) which look nearly new!

    Well done Losers!
And 26 miles? Practically a marathon, good going.
Can I ask is the posted weight loss in kg or pounds?
    Must be pounds right?
