  • +1lb for me this week, but I did have a lovely weekend away!!

Lots of walking (about 10 hours altogether) but not enough to cancel out the cake, it would seem...
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j

I am +0.8lbs this week, and I'm surprised it's so little, as I've eaten excessive amounts of unhealthy (but delicious) food six days out of the past seven.

I've now made it harder for myself to make the 5lb challenge, so will have to pull my socks up if I want to make it (which I really do). Went out for a ten mile bike ride at lunchtime today, as a start to my renewed good intentions.

Hi, no weight recording everybody/fredsnail as "pigged out" twice last week. Knowing the result would only make things worse.

P.S. Thanks for the charts and "congrats" last week and also beanielou(s) comment.

.... Have been using pedometer each day - most days getting to between 5 - 6, 000 steps. Managed to get to 8,000 one day, but was literally on my feet ALL DAY. Not quite sure what you have to do to get to the recommended daily 10,000.
    ....

Make sure you've set your pedometer to the right stride length for you - it can make quite a difference.

Well done to our losers and STSers this week and comisserations to our gainers - you can only progress in life if you treat it like driving - look back in the mirror now and then to see what's behind you and then continue to look forward because that's the part you can control.

Well done to everyone taking part.

This weeks quote is by Jose N Harris:
"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and the people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh.

Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."

I think so Fredsnail, but I will check it again.

Forgot to post weight on Wed, sorry. Total lost over last 2 weeks is 3lb.

Still not doing too well with the exercise, although did walk for about 3 hours whilst out shopping today. Seriously need a kick up the b**.

30 lengths swimming and 1 hour walking to add to the challenge - not good. Think I am finding it harder to get back into the exercise than the diet tbh. I don't even have an excuse as I am off work for the Summer hols!

Seems very quiet on here, hope everyone is OK x
