Feels like I've hit the self destruct button so far this month. I've dropped off exercising at a tremendous rate skipping many days where I was constant and commited to the Rio Challenge in June. And I'm binge eating on all and sundry including cheese, fizzy drinks and booze, not to mention white bread and biscuits.

I think most of us fall off the wagon at sometime. It's how we deal with it that will make or break us. You just have to get back on it and not beat yourself up. I must've put on weight 4 or 5 times since I started in October. When that had happened previously I gave up. Its not going to happen this time! Don't get too down by your blip. This journey will have plenty of up and downs. Look at your progress so far. One bad day, or weekend, will hardly put a dent in your good work so far. x

I have found my motivation and bought a Fitbit

How are you finding the Fitbit RubySlippers, I am tempted .....
Don't give up White Rose - you've hit a hurdle - you can't change it - put it behind you and don't be guilty about it.

So true... Good luck getting back on track White Rose.

I think going to WW has helped me get back into healthier eating this week and I seem to be sticking to the plan so far. Exercise is another matter, it is so easy to find excuses not to do it!! Forced myself to cycle to the pool today. When I got there the pool was so full only managed 10 lengths. So 40 min cycle and 10 lengths
to add for me please Fred.

Noticed a new class on the timetable - Synrgy. Have had a look on Youtune and found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6VWeQfn8_0.
Think I might give it a go? Anyone else tried this??

Just rang up to try to book on the Synrgy class. Was told "as long as 4 people turn up it will go ahead!" - popular then lol!!

    Tried Synrgy this morning.

Basically circuit training using ropes, kettlebells, etc. Hard going but only for 30 min so plan to keep going 3 times a week.

  • -3lb this week, although the scales were jumping around all over the place between -2lb, -3lb and -4lb.

0 minutes to add to my Commonwealth Games 343 minutes challenge. I haven't done any designated exercise this week, dog walking and such but I don't count that in these challenges.
  • Oh, I've just crept over 4 stone lost.

    Up yours obesity.
  • -2.5lb for me this week :-)

    Well done White Rose!!

Jess, my Fitbit's really good for motivation - makes me realise how little I do if I don't try, as I have a desk job! Received my first weekly email update today and I've walked 20 miles, which I was pleased with. Over the week I've done 5 hours 'proper' exercise as well.
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j
