For the 7th Wednesday running STS! Loads of cycling, bits of gardening and doing the best I can with the weekly menu. Very hard work. However, still an achievement based upon my past much heavier weight/past and present personality.
For a change 5lb monthly challenge. Thanks fredsnail.

I'm down a mere 0.4lbs this week, but better than nothing. Kicked off my exercise challenge with a 4.9 mile bike ride yesterday.
I was busy at lunch today, so couldn't go out again, but not sure I would have fancied it anyway with these warnings about the high pollution levels!0 -
Hope I'm not too late! Sorry for missing last week, life's been mad
I'm -1lb this week & did 6 hours exercise, all brisk walking
Ps. I'll be a bunny! And will try the challengea penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -

Sorry I'm late, again.
I was -1lb this week. And I did 3.2km on the cross trainer for the marathon challenge. (10 minutes each day)
I think 3.2/42.2km would be 1.99/26.22 miles...
And I'll work my !!!! off to lose more and do it by Wednesday!0 -
Thanks for the chart Fred, and well done JackieB on SOTW :T
There seem to be less people checking in recently. Are we getting to that point in the year where everyone is getting fed up of watching what they eat (new year's enthusiasm has waned)? I know I am. Will try to keep plodding along though.
I have a medium term goal because I'm going for a couple of weekends away with friends in May, and at the second one (mid-May), there is a pool and hot tub in the house we're renting. So there's an incentive to get as much weight as possible off before then. I think I'll have to book a September holiday after that, to give myself something else to aim for.
I also give myself loads of short term goals. Next one is 3lb off by my birthday (22nd this month). That will take me to X stone and a half. Need to pull my socks up to meet that one. Can't go out to exercise today as it's very high pollution in my region again, and it was bad enough cycling in to work.
Come on guys, let's keep motivated. I'd love to hear other people's goals?0 -

I just finished a 12 week weightloss challenge at work (didn't win but got a respectable placing). So it's a good idea to set a mini goal. I turn 47 today; I weigh less than I did when I turned 46, so that's something. It's 9 weeks till I get another week off, so I'm going for 10lbs by then. Exercise will be a challenge because I'm covering 4 jobs and studying for a final exam, but I need to kickstart it again and get my lardy butt back to the gym."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000 -
I'm 1lb off losing two stone, and I intend to make it to 16st this year, my target rate says September, and then live at that weight for 12 months rather than keep losing for the moment, the bigger challenge to me is to maintain. I'm back exercising, 30 minutes walk at dinner and 20 minutes after work in the garage.
While I'm not wholly goalless it does seem so at times. I can't decide if the 2lb per week average loss guide is a good thing or not, this average rate is now on top of me and I'm just keeping ahead of it, but I think it may demoralise me if I have a red mark one week! I already feel the pressure of this invisible self-inflicted giant boulder looming over me!!
I have just thought that the end goal is more confidence for another, better job and to meet more people, cos at the moment I actually have no mates...0 -
Thank you!
This week I lost 1.5lb. I am now half a pound off my 4 stone total. :j
My goal is to reach 5 stone by the time my first grandchild is born. He/she is due to arrive around the 24th of June, so it's doable. I would be even happier if I got my 75lb certificate by then, but won't be gutted if I don't. I definitely want the 5 stone though. My goal is at least half a stone a month. As I near my target I expect the weightloss to slow down, but i'm nowhere near my target yet. Over 5 months in and i'm still excited about the prospect of losing weight.
My OH took the cross trainer out of the garage into the livingroom last week. Then I could barely manage 5 minutes without being out of breath and dizzy. Yesterday I managed 10 minutes and felt a lot better, although I can feel my legs a wee bit today, but nothing too bad, just stiff, not sore. Just aiming to build it up a bit at a time.0
