What a great idea for a thread!
    I'd like to have
    2. have improved my fitness so that I can swim a mile

    Great programme here: http://ruthkazez.com/ZeroTo1mile.html

I used it to build up to one mile (alongside a few lessons to sort out my bad alignment)

    Great idea for a thread!

I'd like to do the following this year:

    1. Get a job - ideally part-time.
    2. Carry on developing my volunteer job by doing different things.
    3. Finish the small bathroom renovation.
    4. Have the big bathroom renovation planned and designed.
    5. Get the living room decorated.
    6. Pay off the UK cc.
    7. Have a trip to the UK in the pipeline.
    8. Have a holiday!

Lovely idea for a thread OP.

    I'd like too;

    1) Get my health more stable and begin enjoying life again.
    2) Declutter the house
    3) Have a walk in shower fitted.
    4) Not to have to attend any funerals this year.
    5) Have £1000 in savings.

Nice idea. My goals are pretty clear to me

    1) Be at 9 months in remission from cervical cancer - hopefully getting the all clear in a few weeks.
    2) Have tried at least one cycle of IVF. I'd love to say 'be pregnant', but that's tempting fate a little.
    3) Have a real plan for moving back to Australia in either 2014 or 2015.
    4) Be less stressed. Hopefully offically moved to working 4 days a week
    5) BMI below 30.
    6) Swapped the silly door we have for a window.

I think I can realistically achieve 1, 2 and 6 - and will try to do the others!
  • Great idea

    Would love to -

Have a full time job (preferbably one I don't hate & ideally one I love)

    Pass my driving test

    Pay off debts

Have £100 at least saved for Xmas

Plan a holiday with the OH

Take my sister (10) away for a night/have her here and take her to do something she would love

To remember to come back to this thread!
    PAID OFF FEB 2014 - £62.00
    PAID OFF MAR 2014 - £53.54
    PAID OFF APR 2014 - £47.00
    PAID OFF MAY 2014 - £62.80

This year has been pretty awful for me so far, so this is a good excuse to be positive!

    1) Have a healthy nephew born in May.
    2) Buy my first home.
    3) Make a start with my adoption application.

    1. Start new job
    2. Replenish my 2 month salary savings buffer
    3. Try to stretch to 3 months savings
    4. Go on holiday with my boyfriend
    5. Stand up (might be stretching it a bit)
