    Thanks all!

All this stress is doing me no good at all! Nurse said last night Mr SA has low potassium levels and he's been on a drip for the past couple of days to remedy this. Looked up low potassium symptoms on internet and the confusion, hallucinations, etc are caused by low potassium. So hoping this is what's causing his symptoms and not the tumour. As he's picked up since being on the drip maybe this is the case.

Andrea - good to hear you are finally perking up - hope you have a lovely time in Paris. Shop around for the insurance - it's got to be cheaper elsewhere surely!

Finance wise - still no sign of my £43 back from nPower. I have now received two e-mails from them confirming my direct debit for the correct amount so no doubt this means they will be taking the money off me twice next month! It's now 2 weeks since I was first promised a refund and 4 working days since I was re-promised it would be back in my account in 3-5 working days. Will give them until Friday until I explode! AND microwave has stopped microwaving! Had it for quite a few years so have probably had my money's worth but STILL!!! More expense!

It never rains but it pours!

    Hello all

Had the first phone call in a couple of weeks from Mr SA this afternoon so I knew he was improving before I even got to hospital tonight. Could hardly tell a word he was saying but managed to gather he was asking me to bring him a coffee. He was even better than yesterday when I got there and much more "with it" than of late.

The dreaded scan day is tomorrow. This will show whether this latest round of chemo has been successful. Removal of the shunt will also be discussed. Keeping everything crossed for good news for once. Dreading going to the hospital tomorrow but his sister is going too so I won't be on my own.

    Wish him luck everyone!
