Thinking of you SA, just take one day at a time, though I know situations like these are on your mind from the minute you wake up to the minute you go to sleep, if you can sleep.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000

keep talking SA, keep posting, this is when you need it the most. This is as serious as it gets. I can't really say much, you get through hour by hour.
Hope you are asleep now.

Yes. On good days, substitute make the most of, and enjoy for "take"..
Hoping to hear that MrSA perks up again once the chemo is excreted from his system.

Thank you all so much. It was really nice to read all your lovely replies. Very touched.
Tonight Mr SA was ok. He is eating and drinking well but is still very wobbly and confused. Also slightly aggressive and agitated - but I know this is the steroids. His sister thinks he has improved vastly since she last saw him. He told her she was getting on his nerves!
Can you believe I got knocked over by a cyclist on a zebra crossing on the way to hospital. A car stopped to let me cross and the cyclist came from nowhere really fast. I tried to step out of the way but everything went in slow motion. He ran straight into me, knocked me over and landed on top of me! He was very apologetic, said he was medical student, and helped me up. Luckily I got away lightly with grazed hands and knee. Knee is very sore tonight, slightly swollen and some bruising coming out. Nurse at hospital got me some antiseptic wipes which stung like hell. Shaken but not stirred.
At least no one can say I lead a boring life!
Feel a bit calmer tonight - taking one day at a time and whatever will be will be there is nothing I can do about it. Still would give anything to have my old life back though - I feel like someone has crept in and taken everything away.
Dog has runs again - think it may be the heat. Gave her boiled rice and chicken tonight. Took her with me to hairdressers today and she was really well behaved. She is currently decimating plastic water bottle.
Joined Macmillan online community and have found some support from people going through the same experiences as me re brain tumour. Apparently Mr SA's brain lymphoma is as rare as rocking horse poo! He would have to be different!
Tomorrow is another day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Macmillan is a wonderful organisation, have had loads of help and support from them over the years recently. I hope they can help you thru this tricky time, the nurses are so good and will be a real help when you get Mr SA home again.
Take care of you ... That knee will be stiff in the morning ! Ouchies !Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
 to being run over. Hope you are ok.
:rotfl: to Mr SA telling his sister she gets on his nerves!to the poorly doggie.
to the phrase 'rare as rocking horse poo'! I've never heard that before! Here we say 'rare as hen's teeth'. Not good about the subject it refers to though, it must be disappointing to have less info available to you.
