The gas smell was back this morning so rang the plumber who fitted the central heating system. He was going to come out tomorrow but decided to come tonight as he couldn't settle. He tested for gas and yes there was a leak. He took the floorboards up and lo and behold there was a nail right through the pipe where Mr SA had hammered yesterday. The plumber said we were lucky he decided to come out tonight.
Honestly I could throttle Mr SA for his meddling. What with the plaster bag and his broken toe, him falling down the stairs trying to put a piece of beading up and snapping off the stair post and now this!
The plumber didn't want any money for the job but Mr SA gave him £10 to get a drink. I wish I could've given him more but it was all the cash we had on us.
In other news, I went to the gym this lunchtime running on the treadmill for 20 minutes and have spent £5.48 on food. New food budget started today and am determined to stick to it this time.

He's getting to the stage where he's dangerous. I dread to think what's coming next. He is oblivious to the fact he could have killed us all.Christmas Savings 2024 £252.38/£600 April NSD:2 April Surveys £0
