Coo, fascinating! Love "finds" like that - glad it didn't end up in your dinner like an out-of-season Xmas pud sixpence though!Sun_Addict wrote: »Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Here's to a fabulous week ahead for us all

Today's advance on building work is the gas pipes have gone in. Mr SA said it's a good job I wasn't there as all the floorboards were up and my one year old landing carpet ripped up and rolled back - eek!!! Apparently the electrician is holding things up now as he's on holiday. Paid out another £2k today for French doors, bathroom window and new flat roof for the extension.
DD had to get out of her room this morning for the plumber and was grumbling as she was in the middle of watching a programme about tractors!!
Mr SA has just asked me who John Stape is as he keeps getting him mixed up with John Stapleton - !!!!!! how random is that!!!!!
I am most definitely the only sane person in our house (no laughing at the back!).
Walked to and from work today 19,100 steps on the Fitbit, ankle hurts though.
Super busy day at work ahead tomorrow as helping out with health event all day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Well I am shattered!!! On my feet most of the day, ankle not happy. Got my feet up now.
Today's building progress is not muchElectrician holding things up now, he'll be here towards the end of the week. French doors going in Saturday. Things should start to improve from next week once the pipes and wires have all gone in.
On the plus side another evening meal done without resorting to the pub, the resolve is cracking though!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Oooh new patio doors :j :j
I would have slopped off to the pub by now.

Sparkies and plumbers, usually with the prefix of bloody, are the bane of every building / construction project, ever...BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Tractors? John Stape from Coronation Street? New carpets ripped up?
I'd be in the pub by now :rotfl: XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Central heating pipes are in, boiler to be connected but not today. Nothing else has moved on.
Awful weather here today - raining, cold, windy
Annoyingly Mr SA has started pestering what's for dinner and being selective. He'll be wearing it rather than eating it if he keeps on.
Electrician is meant to be making an appearance tomorrow - finally!
Am just about to pour myself a large glass of wine, very much needed tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
