Me neither Lucky. It wouldn't bother me until evening meal time though during the week.
So today the radistors have gone in. Dust everywhere even the dog feels dusty. Have paid for the boiler and radiators today £4,000. Rest of remortgage will be in the bank next Friday, need to keep a check on what's being paid out.
Tomorrow will have a bit of a clean up but obviously not kitchen or bathroom. Everywhere will need redecorating once the building work is finished. It's strangely liberating not being able to clean up. Good job DS and family aren't coming tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Gosh it all sounds very exciting, Sun.A! :j
Reminded me: When our next-door neighbours did the same as you they borrowed a relative's caravan, parked it on the drive and used the kitchen and bathroom in it rather than cope with all the chaos in their house. They had dust sheets over their bedroom doors so could still sleep inside in relative comfort, but most of the rest of the time they 'camped out' in the well-equipped caravan.
Mrs Neighbour moaned mightily because the builders couldn't fit in their job during school holidays as she would much rather have gone away for the duration - but her kids loved the whole experience, of course!0 -
Robin I would've loved to have been away for the whole duration or at least some of it but there is the human boulder DD to consider and the dog and cat. Plus someone needs to be there for what I call "are you there love" moments that all workmen seem to have. They're doing a good job working around us to be honest. And like your neighbour's kids, Mr SA and the dog are loving it all!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Love the fact they are loving it, but.. not so sure about you not loving it quite so much!!
Stay calm and think of the end game. I was also thinking yesterday how far you've come...settled job so you can get the house improvements. Really good to see your progress hon

Did a bit of a clean up today, you would not believe how dusty everything is.
Still resisting the lure of eating at the pub. All food in this establishment is served with a free side order of dust so no contest

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.
