Made a silly mistake yesterday. Went to the shop to buy some groceries, came to €8.87. Gave the till operator a €20 note, she asked if I had the oddment, gave her 87 cents, she gave me €2 change. I realised when I got home - €10 short :( Will be more with it in future.

Ended up going for a walk on the beach in the morning. Wandered into nice shop, saw gorgeous handbag for €30, was deliberating over it when shop assistant came up and said 20% off today so down to €24. Bought it :) Of course Mr SA then wanted something - I've mentioned before his obsession with man bags, he keeps buying them and they are never right, too big, too small, too many/not enough pockets, etc. Now he needs a really small one, just big enough for his phone and keys. He saw one for €25 but I directed him to a gift shop where he found one he liked just as much for €6. I wasn't being stingy but after a few uses this bag will end up at the bottom of his wardrobe with all the others.

Had a nice relaxing afternoon by the pool. Mr SA was inside watching TV most of the time. Now he's talking about getting a takeaway and staying in to watch TV tonight!

    No mishaps last night thankfully.

Had a lovely day yesterday, walked all along the front, stopping off for a coffee and then lunch at a beach front bar. Mr SA got stuck on his scooter on a steep slope and two passers by had to push him and the scooter up it!

Mr SA saw a bag he liked better than the one he bought yesterday. Apparently the strap is too short!! Knew there'd be something. However, hey thinks he may have a longer strap at home.

Compromised last night, let Mr SA watch Ant and Dec then we went out afterwards. Also made him walk as the restaurant was only 20m away. We don't stay out late, just a drink and a meal then back to the villa. I thought it would be noisy late at night being right on the main strip but it isn't, must have good double glazing.

Weather has been fantastic every day so far around 28 degrees. Cooler at night but only need a light cardigan.

    Love this place :)

    Hola :)

Walked too far yesterday but spent the afternoon resting in the sun so ankle recovered. So annoying that it takes me forever to walk anywhere. Keeping well away from Mr SA on the scooter as this one does 12mph, he's not allowed one this fast back home due to his slow reactions.

Mr SA had a fall and banged his head. He is now sporting a bright red gash but is ok otherwise.

Can't believe we've only got two days of holiday left, it's gone so fast. Looking forward to seeing the dog and cat again though and to making a start on the home improvements. Finances and health permitting, I'd like to book this villa again for October/November if it's available.

Tried to walk on the beach yesterday and was disappointed to find it hurt my ankle, sand was too hard, I thought it would do it good.

Walked up to the Biosfero shopping centre for a coffee then ended up buying a jacket from Zara. It is lovely though and will be great for summer. I always make sure I take an extra €100 on holiday just in case I see something. If I don't it rolls over to the next holiday.

Lunch on the way back then relaxing all afternoon. I'm sure the weather is getting hotter, I had to sit in the shade for a bit! Mr SA enjoying the TV more than the sun and is pleased he can still watch Tipping Point (his latest obsession) but hasn't found the Dave channel thankfully.

Went out for an Indian meal last night, it was really nice.

Looks like it's going to be another beautiful day :)

Holiday sounds a lovely break for you both.

I love being away, but always miss the cats!
