So far have done set 1 of 3 physio exercises, added in some sit ups and weights. Only got 7 weeks to get beach ready :)

Looking at grocery budget have spectacularly overspent. Budget for 2 weeks is £210, already spent £138.76! So £71.24 left for this week's shop. I usually like to split my Mr M order over 2 deliveries (got delivery pass) with the idea that I split the spend into 2, which never happens :(
Minimum spend is £40 less 10% staff discount (courtesy of DD) = £36 X 2 = £72. So do-able this week if I'm careful, got plenty of food in the freezer.

Mr SA and the dog not up yet!

Today has flown by! Got everything done I wanted to. Soup is lovely and made 4 portions which will do my work lunches until Friday. Finances done, paid yesterday's grocery spends off cc, got £24 in my purse :)

I'm getting frustrated I can't do as much as I normally can as my foot aches if I do too much - yes my foot not ankle!!!

Mr SA returned from taking dog out and gave me back my measuring tape - he had been measuring the camping chairs at the charity shop to see if they would fit in suitcase. Told him yet again we do NOT need them!

Today has been NSD 1/8 for February :)

Seemed to have turned a corner today and my walking has become much faster and easier :)

Mr SA forgot to move the washing from the radiator today so the same washing that was there at 5am was still there at 4.30pm, stiff as a board! I get so cross with him at times, he does nothing at all to help me. However, he has rung the roofing firm he used to work for "to see how the land lies". Yet again I reminded him his consultant said he would never regain his balance sufficiently to go back to roofing! Bangs head against brick wall!!!

Today has been NSD 2/8 and tonight will be AFD 1/12 :)

Decluttering will be medicine box, long overdue.

Evening SA, what a pain about the washing! Yay to walking faster though.

To see how the land lies?! What was their response?! xx

  • Hello SA

I thought of you the other night when talking to Mum, she had some new meds which really messed with her head and talking to her or explaining anything was impossible. In the end I let her work it out for herself and it was tough but it was easier than a row.

however as awful as I feel typing this, if that person was my partner, my equal in life I would find it so much harder. I expect have some difficulty with Mum - age etc. To some extent a lot of people check themselves when speaking to their "parents" so in a similar way I rarely just blurt stuff out to Mum in case of judgement or misunderstanding but again I suppose I have this view that if I had a partner that wouldn't be there.

It must be so hard at times. so very hard. I have nothing but admiration for you really.

sorry that was a bit deep.

    XXX
    Nevertheless she persisted.

MTG - they know he can't do it. They just said ring back when you're better.

Made the veg sausages with cauliflower mash and caramelised onion gravy tonight - was lovely. Can't believe how filling the cauliflower mash was. Mr SA had pork sausages with potato mash and the onion gravy.

Not the sausages Beanie, but the rest of it I did.

Yesterday was another AFD 2/12. Spent £19.98 in Wilko for stuff I needed for house.

Today's spends £35.81 on Mr M online shop so £35.43 left for Saturday's shop to stay on track.

Not cooking from scratch tonight, we've got scampi (using up freezer stock), wedges and veg.

Mr SA has been "helpful" today by informing me there was some off milk in the fridge which he discovered when he made himself a coffee. He just put it back in the fridge for me to dispose of. When I asked him why he didn't throw it away, he said well it didn't take you long did it so what are you moaning about. Words defy me (well polite ones anyway).
