Thank goodness I didn't go back to work today. Have been awake most of night in agony. Must've been all the messing about with ankle yesterday. Physio was bending it about all over. Dog and cat were playing up in the night too, cat was rummaging about in my wardrobe, dog was chasing her round house.

Mr SA just gone out with dog. He takes some motivating in the morning. I keep asking him to do simple tasks and he keeps saying in a bit. He's yet to finish putting together DGD's doll's house and they're coming to pick it up on Saturday.

Need to try and tidy up a bit today, Mr SA is so untidy. Even outside there is litter in the drive that he's missed the bin with and not picked it up. Feel like I'm nagging him all the time but he just doesn't see it.

    ^^^ Ditto!

Either tell Mr SA what you want him to pick up / put away, or avert your eyes, woman!

    Thanks ladies :)

Mr SA is currently finishing the doll's house in the living room. I can hear a lot of huffing and puffing. I'm keeping out of the way, feet up with a coffee and magazine in the dining room :)

    Hello Sun Addict,

I hope you don't mind me de-lurking to say I hope your ankle gets better very soon! You've clearly been having a really rough time, but at the same time you've still done incredibly well from your first post on this thread to now!

    Have a lovely day :)

Thank you for de-lurking. It's been an eventful diary that's for sure! Hopefully my next diary will be very boring!

Have finished Christmas shopping today - online of course. Ankle a lot easier at the moment but have had painkillers and lots of rest. Mr SA almost finished doll's house and is out with dog again. He eventually got rid of the rubbish outside. Didn't get much housework done due to pain but plan to do the ironing when Mr SA gets back, he sets up the iron and board for me, the board on the lowest rung so I can do it sitting down, he's very thoughtful like that!
