I managed to change the duvet cover
Actually nowhere near as bad as I anticipated. Then I finished cleaning upstairs. Just waiting for Mr SA to hoover now. Ankle has been sending sharp stabbing pains so am resting now.
Brizzle I think you've hit the nail on the head, she's stuck in a rut. DS is forever having a word with her.
Mr SA had a bad fall this morning just as he was about to take dog out. I couldn't help him but he eventually got up. Then a bit later he lost his balance, grabbed my wheelchair and promptly rammed my bad leg into the freezer. Ouch! It will be a miracle if this ankle has healed! I swear every time he approaches my ankle starts to twinge!
We need a lightweight Hoover. At present we have a Henry Hoover, which is brilliant but weighs a tonne. Looking online they cost a fortune! Might have another look in the sales.
The Mr M curry last night was really nice. Would definitely have again. Tonight we're having the leftover pizza from the other night with salad.
Thinking about it, I don't think I'm ready to go back to work on Wednesday. My manager suggested I take next week off and see how I feel a week tomorrow. I'll see what the hospital say Tuesday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Someone I used to work with, who I am still in touch with on FB, she's got a new puppy who has become very seriously ill. A bit touch and go at the moment. I can't stop worrying about the puppy. It seems to be just one bad thing after another just lately
Anyway feeling a bit distracted tonight have burnt the pizza. Mr SA tried to pretend it wasn't too bad.

Glad you're thinking hard about when you go back to work...maybe a phased return? Short days and part time?
Agree with Beanie...this sounds like a Laurel & Hardy sketch at the very least..your ankle deserves a medal for survival!
