Still extremely fed up. Leg very tingly today. Still stir crazy stuck inside.

Not seeing or speaking to anyone other than Mr SA is driving me mad. The thought was there so I shouldn't complain, but he went out and spent £4 on a magazine for me I don't even like today. Mistake I made was giving him £20 yesterday. Would have been so much nicer if he had bought flowers instead.

Missing out on all the little things I enjoy doing at Christmas It couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Not very productive today, have lost all enthusiasm. I feel so down Apologies for depressing post but I'm really struggling today. I know the situation is only temporary but more than anything it's highlighted the fact that no one is willing to do anything for me. I've still had to cook, clean, wash and iron.

Dont know what to say really as sadly I can only agree with you that it is a depressing situation. I am sad on your behalf that no one does anything forn you. Your DD needs some dynamite I think.

So sorry to read that you are feeling like this SA. You shouldn't have to but make sure you text those friends and make sure they are taking you out this week as you need it. Chin up, tomorrow is another day xx

Time is running out for the trip out MTG. Monday the kitchen people are coming and Tuesday I've got hospital. Then I might as well go back to work Wednesday. One of them would be coming from quite a long way and I wouldn't want to hassle anyone to put themselves out. My guess is they can no longer make it but don't like to say. I've not heard anything for over a week.

I thought I might get some flowers from work. They usually get them for people off sick, although from experience they are often very slow to do this and the recipient is back at work a couple of days later, so there is still time yet.

DD won't help. She doesn't even ask me how I am. I don't know where I went wrong with her, she is the most selfish uncaring person ever to walk the earth. She was a lovely little girl until the teenage hormones hit. Then she turned into a parent hating monster. Thing is she's 30 next month and is still the same. I do wonder if she has a personality disorder (seriously) or even slightly autistic.

People probably think I'm sat here with my feet up being pampered. If I've learned one lesson from this it's don't assume people are ok, they might not be. Actually maybe lesson two is I don't have any REAL friends. I've had a couple of offers from work mates to pick stuff up from shops. What I would actually like is someone to visit me. Instead of saying I don't need anything I should've added but a visit would be welcome.

Apologies again for downbeat post. I'll be fine once I'm up and running again honestly. Just feeling sorry for myself.

Another day gone by done nothing again today except for washing and ironing. Had a nice text from one of the friends I went for lunch with the day before my accident. Still not heard from work or anyone I work with. Thought I would've by now. Feel like I've disappeared.

Mr SA has spent the best part of the day constructing the doll's house I bought for DGD's Christmas present so I've steered clear. He's not finished yet and has left it in the living room ready for me to fall over!

He knows I feel down and suggested I put on a clean nightie to cheer myself up! I wish it was that simple.

Going to have a nice warm bath in a bit. The waterproof cast cover floats my leg on top of the water and it's so soothing to my leg.

Got hospital appointment letter for next Tuesday. BIL has offered to take me and pick me up. Then I plan to return to work the next day even if it's only for a few hours.

Didn't feel like cooking tonight so ordered a pizza. Not a bad deal £20 for 2 large pizzas, wedges and Pepsi. Plenty of pizza left for freezer. Part of me thinks waste of money, part of me thinks so what.

Have heard from some work mates via FB. Makes me feel a bit better, not much, but a bit. No one asked how I'm doing though, am I expecting too much? I know I'm not ill as such but I'm out of action.

I'm expecting too much.
