That's what Mr SA said Beanie. Especially this time of year when people have a lot on their minds.
Toying with the idea of popping into work today as they are having a Christmas get together. To be honest I wasn't originally keen on going as it can be a bit boring but it would be nice for me to chat to people. I could get a taxi there and back. Might perk me up a bit. Might have a battle with Mr SA though, he will be dead against me going.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

I'm going out
. SA is leaving the building
Going to the work do and then a chat with manager about return to work. Mr SA surprisingly ok with it. I'm a bit scared as will be in the hands of taxi driver and they're not always the most helpful, often sitting in cab watching us struggle with cases when going to airport.
Going to get ready soon, I look a mess, it may take some time. I can't go in my nightie they said.
Will let you know how I got on later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

So I went to work, had a lovely time, everyone was so pleased to see me. Got loads of hugs and some lovely flowers, chocolates, prosecco and a £50 M&S voucher. Wow!! Got a much needed boost, so pleased I made the effort. And what a lovely bunch of people I work with
However, it was a bit of an ordeal getting there and back in the taxi. Had to cajole the driver to assist both ends. Cost me £20 in all but worth it. Got to overlook taxi costs at the moment I'm afraid if I want a life.
So a very much happier SA tonight.
Back to reality at home DD had left mess in kitchen with sandwich toaster and Mr SA had been "too busy" to tidy up. Bit cross about this to be honest and if I go back to work, as hoped, next week I don't need to come home to mess.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
