Hi all and thanks for the lovely messages! Didn't log on last night as I was busy and tired so had an early bath and bed.
Mr SA was fine last night, still practising his walking and he even managed to go to the toilet on his own. He knows there's a coffee shop downstairs at the hospital and he keeps asking the nurses if he can go but obviously they won't let him! They says he's hard work at the moment! (Tell me about it!!!) The second dose of chemo starts tomorrow. Today his mission with physio is stairs.
Thanks for the idea about his knees Taxi. As you say it's worth a mention. His brother has bad knees and is having a knee operation soon. Might run in the family as his dad also had them.
Some good news - he has had a payment of £419 go in the bank for ESA. Never had a letter or anything about it so it was a surprise. In fact they sent a form at the weekend to fill in about limited capability for work. The hospital need to fill quite a bit of this form in as it relates to his treatment and a consultant needs to sign it.
Trying to get myself organised a bit more moneywise and housework wise - am formulating plans! Paid off what I owe on spending card today - Tesco credit card - I make sure I do this every Monday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Great news about the ESA :j. The letter will follow, you get used to their snail mail! We always get letters a few days after payments!
I remember DH's first trip to the hospital cafe! He cried the whole time as he was 'so happy to be out somewhere'! The ward made sure I had their number open on my phone so I could ring if anything went wrong but it went ok.
Hope tonight has gone ok too XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks all!
Mr SA's chemo has been delayed as his salt levels are playing up again. Might be tomorrow or Thursday now. Tomorrow Home Assessor is coming to see him as after chemo he might be home for a couple of days. I really hope he's not disappointed. He is continuing to do well but is upset about his lymphoma. I just keep reassuring him he will get better it will just take time. He needs to be patient.
Am still hatching those plans - just trying to find a spare minute really.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

wishing you health and happiness

Hey Sun. Here's hoping OH's Chemo goes ok and there's no adverse effects.
Don't forget to take a few minutes out for yourself every now and then too. You don't want to be making yourself ill while worrying about OH.0 -
My goodness Andrea, you must be mighty fed up still in hospital! Get well soon!
Hope Mr SA's sodium is behaving itself today and that you are looking after yourself too XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
