Sorry to hear Mr SA isn't good today. My DH also has low sodium since the head injury and I was told it is very common in those sorts of circumstances. He was also on fluid restrictions and 9 tablets per day at the beginning. Infact his levels have just dropped again recently and he's gone back up to 4 tablets a day from 2. What I'm trying to say, badly, is that yes it does make them confused which isn't fun, but it is manageable.
I hope things are better for you both tomorrow. Sleep well XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thank you all for your supportive messages and no satchmo I'm not offended by the prayer. I live next door to a church and can often be found in my garden looking up at the cross on its roof and asking for a bit of help!
Thanks P it always helps when someone else has experienced the same thing. I think I must have looked worried last night as nurse said to me this is quite normal really.
Our GP has finally filled in the form for the holiday cancellation insurance after 3 weeks of waiting. Going to pick this up this morning on my way to work which means I don't have to rush today as they don't open until 8 and I am normally at work by then.
Hoping to be reporting some positive news tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Thanks mummy and good evening all
Mr SA was much better tonight. His sodium levels are still low but he is recovering. He now has his own room which is really nice more like a hotel room with en-suite! Is this really NHS!!!! I've got to get used to the idea that sometimes there are going to be bad days.
My eBay skirt arrived today and I'm really happy with it. Just waiting for top now. No more impulse buying!
With the money I saved on home insurance I will be able to make £38 overpayment on Barclaycard this week. I have also totted up what money I have left until the end of the month and worked out a budget so it lasts until payday. As long as I stick to it there should be about £40 left for another overpayment.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Evening SA i followed you over from some other diaries and have just read through your whole diary. Well done you for being so strong and coping so well. Big hugs to you all
I'm glad to hear Mr SA's room is so niceyou've been given some great advice on here from plmbl, taxi and others (sorry am rubbish with memory and remembering everyone
) it seems to me that you clearly started your diary for a reason and that reason being support.
I hope tomorrow is a good day

Hi DFW - and to think I only started my diary originally to motivate myself to pay off debt. Little did I know how "interesting" life was going to become! Everyone has been a great support though and I find it really helps putting everything into words.
I'm really angry with nPower today as when I changed over to them at the end of last year they took ages setting up the changeover from Scottish Power which made me incur an exit fee, then they didn't take any money from my account even though I'd set up a direct debit and I ended up phoning them and settling up what I owed to date. They set up the direct debit for the 1st of the month. Still not taken anything out as yet! Yesterday they sent me an email saying my monthly payment was £132 due to go out on the 1st. Today I went into my online account to find they are taking £154 next week and £154 on 1st June! I phoned them up today and they say I'm £266 in debit and they haven't billed me for electricity yet! Hopefully these two lots of £154 will more or less square everything up but I now have to find an extra £22 a month just like that! I will be getting a small pay rise from May's payday onwards so no doubt that will be taken away from me by nPower.
Why is it every time I get some extra money something comes along to take it away!
Rant over see you all later!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
