Hi Buffy! Glad you've emerged from the reports! Actually it was a glass of wine not tea!

Today I've paid £38 off Barclaycard courtesy of getting the house insurance cheaper. So this now stands at £1457. I've also put £4.54 into my VSP so this now holds £177.36.

    Hi all!

I've had a phone all from nPower. Apparently I now owe them £422!!!!!! But this is being looked into. Maybe by tomorrow I'll owe them £800 as the amount seems to double daily!

Mr SA was good again tonight. He is walking loads with zimmer frame by himself and nurses are pleased with him. His next lot of chemo will be Monday or Tuesday. Then provided physio sign him off he can come home and just return for chemo! How wonderful will that day be.

Some good news from his accountant - he is due a tax rebate of £1883. Last year it was over £3k but this is still good. However at the rate I'm going with nPower probably will owe them this soon! Having said this their customer service is being really good at the moment so can't be too harsh!

Hi P! Unfortunately he has just texted me to say he has fallen over again! They won't let him out until he's more steady on his feet. He's literally trying to run before he can walk. Hey the fact he's texting is a major achievement!!!

Glad to hear OH is doing well despite his few falls, he'll need to learn not to do too much at once though. Here's hoping he's allowed home soon *fingers crossed*

    Thank you all!

What a miserable grey day today! No rain here but more like autumn than late spring! Got all my cleaning donr but don't know why I bother the house never looks any different afterwards.

Mr SA was fine tonight. He might be able to come home bank holiday weekend. The problem with his falling is his knees buckling. He has always had problems with his knees - it's a hazard of his job (roofing) and he also hurt his knee badly last year when he fell down a hole (don't ask!!!). He never got it seen to and he should have. He's getting stronger all the time though so maybe this time next week he'll have improved some more.

  • Great to hear Mr SA is taking positive steps to recovery I hope he doesn't have too many more falls though. I guess it must be frustrating for him though.

    Keep smiling :)
