We've managed to get rid of the folic acid as this is for when you're on chemo, also doctor has reduced his anti-d's by 10mg to see how he fares. He's also got some stronger cream for his groin rash as it's getting worse.

..Ha - doubtless it makes their firm more money if clients are forced to call 'em out for every puncture!
Look online at medical equipment companies - bet you can find someone who'll sell you a matching spare wheel (know this is possible; a family member with a bike shop has a few clients with scooters and powered chairs, who bring in their fifth wheel for repair when they get punctures - he keeps special-sized inner tubes for them).Sun_Addict wrote: »Now the dog is unwell - moping about and won't eat anything - although she was fine when I took her on the park this morning.
Hmm. "Pollen allergy" in August[?], plus odd days being very off-colour.. I'd keep a close eye - and use a basket muzzle while walking just in case she's picking up something from the grass which shouldn't be there..0 -
Mr SA already loads better, new cream is clearing rash up nicely and he says he feels better than he has in ages.
Dog is back to normal thankfully, although I have had to rein Mr SA in regarding him giving her unsuitable things to eat. I am getting fed up of asking him not to give her bits of toast, chocolate, etc as not good for dogs
Thank you for the tip re spare scooter wheels Robin, will look into it as would be handy to have a spare.
Lost 1lb at WWOf course half of this is recycled weight from the half I put on last week.
Back to give the spinning class a second go tomorrow.

Finally the weekend again. :j
Been up and about for over an hour so getting things done early.
To clarify with the dog: her pollen allergy is skin contact only - the vet thinks she is picking it up on her tummy from grass, plants, flowers as it's so close to the ground being only the size of a cat. This is irritating her skin and making her itchy. We have been advised to wipe her tummy and chest with a flannel every time she's been outside.
Went to spinning again yesterday, enjoyed it more as I got a bike with a lower seat which made it a lot easier. Won't be able to go next Friday as I'm meeting some friends for lunch.
Sorted out finances this morning - credit card is high but that's because the holiday is on it. Have done some calculations and should be able to clear the bulk of it on payday but will have to lend myself the rest out of my VSP until September payday.
Hoping for a low spend weekend. Trying to avoid going into town with Mr SA as grandkids are coming this afternoon and I want to get the cleaning up done first. Also need to hold on to what money I've got left as next weekend will be a spendy one - it's my birthday weekend, got the lunch out next Friday then Mr SA and I will be going out for lunch on my actual birthday. Mr SA has decided he needs yet another new pair of canvas shoes - he has more footwear than I have  Told him he'll have to wait until I get paid, he seems to think we've got a bottomless bank account.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Aww, bless her! Hope the meds are effective soon - and MrSA remembers not to give her any more chocolate - as she's so tiny it won't take much to make her sick (the episode you mentioned the other day??).Sun_Addict wrote: »Went to spinning again yesterday, enjoyed it more as I got a bike with a lower seat which made it a lot easier. Thought about it and thought about it, but simply can't imagine how one combines 'spinning' and bicycles as exercise (you can tell I don't frequent indoor gyms, lol)!
Hope you managed to avoid town, coffee-shops and shoe shops this morning, and had a lovely time with the DGC this afternoon.0 -
The grandkids didn't come yesterday. DS and GF bought a much needed new car and had to pick it up. They were planning to pop over today but apparently Mr SA told them not to bother (!!!!) so they are now visiting a week tomorrow.
Today we had a trip to Aldi preceded by a trip to Costa. So much for not spending much I managed to spend almost £50 in Aldi (OMG!!!!). However, this included a bottle of champagne for my birthday and a litre of gin so quite reasonable on the whole. Plus stocked up on loads of cheap store cupboard stuff which should save money in the long run.
Quite a productive day today, did a freezer inventory and filed Mr SA's tax return online. He is due a rebate of £7.50 - woo hoo!
Short day at work tomorrow as got check up at dentist tomorrow afternoon.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Don't spend it all at once

Eat sleep work repeat. Eat sleep work repeat.
That's what this past week has been like.
Anyway I've now got 4 whole days off work :j
This was my week:
Monday
Left work early went for a check up at dentist, all fine, back in 6 months.:)
Tuesday
Work followed by Zumba.
Wednesday
Work, circuit training, back to work, home, Mr M online shopping arrived. Ordered some WW naan breads, half of the pack were covered in blue mould  Can't believe the picker didn't notice. Phoned customer services got my money back plus a £5 voucher
Thursday
Work, WeightWatchers - lost half a pound - better than nothing. I no longer have to pay for meetings as I'm a Gold Member within 5lbs of their goal weight. However, I've decided to keep the online subscription at a cost of £15 every 3 months (for now). Will review how much I've used it in 3 months' time.
Friday
Work until 12 then met my lovely old school friends for lunch. We had a fab catch up and it's in our diaries to meet up again in 6 months.
Back to today. Hoping to get the cleaning up done and then have a relaxing day. Mr SA had other plans - he wanted to know where I wanted to go today and I said nowhere I want to regroup and catch up with myself after a busy week. He wants to go out. Promised him we'll go out tomorrow if weather is ok. The four days I've got off today is really the only day I've got to do stuff at home, will need to go out tomorrow to get a few food bits, Monday the grandkids are coming and Tuesday it's my birthday so we've planned to go out for coffee and lunch.
One of Mr SA's suggestions for my birthday weekend was for us to visit my mum's grave - erm not really what I had in mind!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
