Forgot to add Mr SA has had a very sore rash between his legs. I jokingly said it was jock rot :). Anyway turns out I was right, he now has cream from doctors and it's already loads better. I still think it's because he doesn't dry himself properly after his shower.

All the paving slabs are the same MTG and Lucky - I think it's meant to be quaint. I wouldn't mind if I'd been drinking and had high heels on but this is the second time sober and in trainers!!

Thank you dawny, someone at work gets it under her boobs so recommended talc. I've got him some now. He's still very red at the top of his legs but the soreness has gone.

Hairdressers this morning then lunch out at local pub followed by trip to local fair with DS, DGD and DGS. Had no time to clean up today so a job for tomorrow unfortunately.

Must sort finances tomorrow too, got paid yesterday and not had time to look at bank properly.

Had a busy day today, sorted finances, cleaned the whole house, took the dog out twice and did a huge pile of washing and ironing. Phew!

DS gave me the number of someone he knows who is a reliable builder, so will ring him for a quote. If need be I can give the BS the contact details of chap in HR who can vouch for me being TUPE'd over.

Going to sort myself out with an induction at the new gym tomorrow. They keep sending me motivational emails which is more than my local leisure centre used to do for twice the price and a bit more!

Mr SA has found his old iPod from before he got ill and has been moping over old video footage of him in his well days :( It's weird to watch as I had almost forgotten what he was like before. Trying to convince him he needs to move on and not dwell on the past. Easier said than done.

August already! This year is flying past.

Went for gym induction after work. Booked in for circuits on Wednesday and spinning Friday. Mr SA now wants to go swimming on his own one day this week. Bearing in mind he'd lost his ability to swim last time he went with the carer. It would be good for him if he could do it though, he reckons he won't go in the deep end until he's got his confidence back.

Received my £100 M&S gift card today I got for taking out home insurance with Legal & General earlier this year. I only paid just over £100 for the policy so brilliant :)

Today has been alcohol free day number 1 of August - 11 more to go!
