Thanks all.
Work was ok, back to being manically busy. Good news is I've been given two lots of £20 Love to Shop vouchers by people at work, one for helping him, the other for organising an event. You can nominate people for these vouchers if they've gone the extra mile. So £40 in two days not bad going. Then got home and my £10 Sainsburys voucher from Bounts had arrivedWoo hoo
Dog is still scratching. She looks quite red and sore in places. She needs to go to the vets anyway for her booster and flea check so will try and get her in this Saturday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
WW tonight and miraculously I've only put a pound on after the holiday
Back on track now.
Exhausted after work today, been helping out with interviews. I have to meet and greet and help the candidates relax prior to their interview. I then give my pre-interview grilling opinion to the panel. I've had to idle chit chat to 6 people I've never met before, only one of them out-talked me and that's some going! In between all this I had to do some proper work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
So happy to read that MrSA got the news you were both hoping for! :T
Three of my RL mates have also been given the all-clear recently. All of them used Rick Simpson oil alongside their allopathic treatment, and Spain has just made it legal to grow the plant for personal use (if only they'd done it five years ago my DH might have had a chance - saw your good news on the fourth anniversary of his passing so was especially pleased for you!).0 -
Yay to the good news about Mr SA :j
Yay to you only putting on 1lb too, were you living the Mediterranean lifestyle last week?!
Enjoy your weekend xxMummytogirls x0 -

Robin I can't believe it's been 4 years - I remember reading your diary before Mr SA got ill and it moved me to tears. Great news about your friends though.
MTG I was mainly living on cheese and tomato pizza and cava that's why it's such a miracle.
Mr SA has spent £30 on two rear view mirrors for his scooter!!!!
Friday at last, survived my first week back at work and have already been stalking Jet2 website for a bargain at the end of September/early October. Severe post holiday blues. Need to save up first though but considering going back to hotel we went to in January in Lanzarote.
Got dog in at vets Sunday afternoon for booster and for them to look at itchy skin problem.
DD got paid today so has coughed up board money. Actually she is very prompt at paying up so can't moan.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

SA, im laughing at your diet for the past week!! DH used to live on a similar diet bar the cava and he was as thin as a rake. Give him proper food and he's put on over 2 stone! He does look better for it although he disagrees.
Hope dog ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Dog is fine, she has an allergy, probably pollen, quite common in dogs under 5 apparently. She's got some tablets to take for 2 weeks. She's had her booster so that's over for another year.
Pretty sure I'll book us another holiday to Lanzarote for the end of September. I've been doing some calculations and I can afford it if I'm careful. DD can get the time off work to look after dog. Been looking at Jet2 website and the hotel we went to in January is very reasonable end of September. After that, providing Mr SA remains ok, I think the next holiday will be end of April for his birthday.
Going to book in at building society to see about remortgaging for new kitchen and bathroom. Should be getting something in writing soon re job so going to see how the land lies. Would be good if I could get it done by Christmas.
Have been shuffling around finances and have opened a new ISA with better interest rate, have transferred my VSP into a better interest account and have opened a regular monthly saver account.
Full week at work next weekI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
