Great to hear from you Robin, hope you're ok, how is CD?
Hotel is finished but only just Beanie, they are still plastering the reception area.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Still having fab time, jacuzzi is working and is brilliant. Cleaner locked everyone out of their rooms yesterday, trapped on roof terrace in searing heat. Had to climb over a wall and down fire escape to report to reception. Today the same cleaner has left us without towels. Reported to reception only to be told €20 deposit for towels! Another complaint and we have towels. Mr SA hard work today, a bit confused.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Unbelievable - we are sitting in the hotel room waiting for it to stop raining
It's slinging it down. Fortunately we have BBC channels on room TV and the wifi is good so able to catch up on diaries and trawl Internet. But I'd much rather be out and about. Mr SA is itching to get to the Costa Coffee down the road, where we've been every morning since we discovered it.
Can't believe it's our last day here tomorrow, we've had a great time.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

The rain didn't last long thankfully and normal 32 degrees sun service was resumed by lunchtime.
We had a lovely time.
Back home todayWaiting for ambulift at airport for Mr SA, at check in desk, he announces he can't see very well and is dizzy. Said shush don't say that loudly, let's just get on the plane. He's ok now by the way. Prior to that he announced he can't find his sunglasses. I had to wheel him all over airport as he insisted on looking for them. We didn't find them, I suspect they are in his bag.
Don't know if anyone watches Love Island but the latest evictee was at the airport being descended on by hen parties. I don't watch it personally.
Anyway get home and DD pounces on us, don't open living room door there is a fox in there. Apparently it was the dog's fault. Had to take dog upstairs while door opened for fox to escape, only a cub. Then DD announces oven went bang the other night. No longer working. It's 16 years old so it would've happened soon, but why now. Upside is she has fixed fridge freezer which was playing up - thanks to Google. It's odd but some strange things happen when we leave DD to look after the house. Might as well leave a clown in charge! Looks like the fox might have been doing the cleaning as everywhere could do with a good scrub.
So back down to earth with a bang - got to pick up the cat's ashes tomorrow and it's Mr SA's consultant appointment Monday.
On the plus side the dog and the other cat are pleased to see us.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
