Glad you're back home safe SA. Oooohhhh I am obsessed with Love Island, who was it?!
Sounds like its all been going on at your house whilst DD was in charge :rotfl:, a fox in the house!!!!
Are you ok today after picking up the ashes? xxMummytogirls x0 -
I never found the sunglasses. Cleaned the house top to bottom. Luckily I have a double oven and have never used the smaller oven - ever. Turns out it cooks things quite well. So will try to make do until I get my new kitchen, whenever that will be, hopefully later this year.
DS picked up the cat's ashes as he passes the vets on his way here. DD produced a plaque she bought, a bit OTT and gushy, not really my thing, but it did bring a tear to my eye as it was so sad. The ashes were in a box which we buried. Will buy a nice plant to go on top.
DGD and DGS came today. DGD did nothing but have tantrums. She's 2 a week today. Kept trying to get a photo of the two of them together without success.
Dog has an itchy rash. Might need to take her to the vets if it doesn't improve. Apart from that she's her usual boisterous self.
As for Mr SAHe's not been right all day. Confused, rambling, argumentative, slurring his words, stumbling about, talking rubbish and sleepy. Hoping it's just tiredness from travelling but I think he's concealing headaches. I caught him clutching his head when he thought I wasn't looking. Glad it's the consultant appointment Monday. He looks a bit wild eyed, I don't like it
Finance wise it was payday Thursday so have paid off credit cards, bills, etc. All squared upVSP now holds just short of £500.
Weight wise trying to get back on track so not too much holiday damage by next weigh in on Thursday. Tried hard to be good on holiday but limited food choice veggie wise meant I often had to resort to pizza.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Also the plaque commented reminded me a bit of ours! We let DD2 have a say as she absolutely loved him, he was her best friend (her words).
So weve got his name and then the best dog ever!!
Glad you've got cat back where he/she belongs xxMummytogirls x0 -
Sorry MTG we crossed posts - I don't watch Love Island but I googled it and it looked like Tom. He was very pleasant and obliging with the young ladies wanting to be photographed with him. See above re the ashes. It all feels a bit surreal.
Beanie - so do I. I'm not panicking yet. Hopefully it's just tiredness.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
We keep crossing SA!!! Hmmmm i wasn't right keen on him tbh, he was too moody for my liking!!! xxMummytogirls x0

So glad you had a great time. Horrid re your cat - it's horrendous when they go, having been part of your lives through so many good memories.

What a lovely summer day todaySat outside our local Costa with Mr SA and the dog followed by a trip to Aldi. Got loads of washing done, some gardening and even found time to relax with a Pimms.
Mr SA is getting worked up about tomorrow. Nothing I say makes him feel better so I'm letting him watch a combination of Top Gear and football.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
