Evening SA, I feel your pain with DH but got to love how patriotic he is :rotfl:
Holiday sounds lovely. We went to Cala D'or last year and it was just so beautiful. Love the plan about parking Mr SA in the bar whilst you go shopping!!!

We've been to Cala d'or 3 times - love it.
Sad news tonight we had to have our 21 year old cat put to sleepHe started fitting badly and was in a bad way. In the end I chickened out of staying in the room with him and Mr SA had to do it. I sat in the waiting room blubbing
Stupid as I was with my mum to the end and was much braver. Just broke the news to DD - she's gutted. We're having him individually cremated and will pick up the ashes after the holiday - £239!!!'

Aw thanks all. Not the best start to the week - although it had been on the cards for a while now it was still hard. At least it happened before we went on holiday. It would've been awful if it happened while we were away and DD was looking after him. DD is still devastated but I'm feeling slightly easier now. It's unbelievable that every time we are due to go on holiday do we have a last minute panic. It's either Mr SA at the hospital or one of the fur babies at the vets. If you can remember Mr SA had a scan and a neurologist appointment just before we went away in January, the year before Mr SA was being checked over at haematology a couple of days before we went away. And don't even mention 3 years ago when he first took ill 2 weeks before we were due to go away.
Hopefully today will be a nice relaxing day. Flying at 8am tomorrowI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Managed to get on the hotel wifi. Weather is fabulous, hotel brand spanking new and right on the sea front. We have our own private roof terrace with a day bed and jacuzzi although jacuzzi doesn't work and there aren't any cushions on the day bed - reception are meant to be sorting out. Mr SA has got a scooter but has already managed to leave his walking stick in a bar (we got it back).I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
