  • Congratulations on your new Grandson :j. What does DGD think of him?

OMG with the Gas Monkey T-Shirt! DH is obsessed with it too. He trawled eB@y and got a second hand vest really cheap. It's on so often in this house that DS2 has adopted Richard's 'woooo' complete with clicking fingers etc :rotfl: Xx

How weird is that Lucky! Tshirt was from Monkey Merchandise. DGD is not impressed with little bro. DGS is being a pain apparently - he has had to go on formula milk as he is feeding constantly.

Buffy I had never heard of Gas Monkey before yesterday.

My reading glasses couldn't be repaired sadly, I had to buy new frames, cost me £55. Finally got to place my order with Argos at 6am this morning. It was delivered this afternoon - lawnmower and storage box for my winter clothes. Got £10 voucher for next order so got Mr SA a panini toaster for £2.96.

Sadly back to work tomorrow but at least I won't be able to spend anything. Have got to learn how to VBA code tomorrow - have no idea what it is. Wish me luck!

Happy June everyone :) The weather here is less than summery though, in fact it's been really cold and windy for the past two days :(

Payday yesterday, have paid all the card bills - Tesco, Debenhams and M&S. Plus all June bills accounted for. So now skint. When is it payday again?

Finally got some good weather today. Also finally got to see DGS in real life and he's so sweet. DGD ignores him completely, she seems to have no interest in him. She kept the dog entertained all afternoon throwing a ball in the garden and dog is worn out now. Same with Mr SA he is worn out and not feeling great at the minute, shivery and aching. Hope he's not coming down with something. He's complaining of headache which is always worrying.

Contacted a scooter place in Majorca to hire one for Mr SA and they reckon our hotel is still being built. Contacted Jet2 and they say it will be finished tomorrow. So let the scooter people know and they said they passed it today and it's not finished! They've got just over 2 weeks so fingers crossed.

Work-wise my job is being graded prior to the transfer in. There is a chance I will be TUPE'd in at a higher grade, which would be great. I do a lot more than I should be doing so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm hoping for a quiet day tomorrow, hopefully in the sun, putting my feet up.
