Another birthday come and (almost) gone
Had a nice day - too hot for the original plan to go in town for a coffee then lunch. Just went to local Costa, back home then to local pub for lunch with Mr SA and the dog. Spent the rest of the afternoon in the back garden enjoying the lovely sunshine. Bit disappointed so far that DD seems to have forgotten my birthday. She's at work right now so expect she'll come back with something but she should have left at least a card this morning if nothing else. Different story when it's her birthday.

Thank you all.
DD still not appeared - she will be 30 in January so might make her sweat for her card/present - but deep down know I'm not that petty. I could make your hair curl with stories about her and what a pain she's been over the years - for example having to bail her out from Turkey when she had a failed attempt at working there plus when she fraudulently transferred money from DS's bank to hers and he couldn't go through with the complaint against her, need I go on, there is a lot more ....I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
