Quick update while Mr SA is asleep and not watching my every move again.
The Sausage and Cider Festival yesterday was a total waste of £10 each ticket price, can't believe they were charging £15 each on the door. The bouncer on the door searched my handbag for food and drink - you were only allowed water. Sausage-wise there were just two vans, one had veggie sausages, neither had anything that great. Cider-wise there was one tent with barrels with about 10 ciders to choose from. You had to buy tokens for the drinks at £2 per token, the cheapest drink being 2 tokens. There were about 6 stalls, nothing much and a bouncy castle. There were bands on, which is why the entrance fee I would imagine but they weren't on until the afternoon/evening. We arrived at just after 11, everything was sodden from a very heavy shower so couldn't sit down, so we left after 15 minutes. I was very disappointed - was expecting a few tents with samples of sausages/cider that you could purchase and a lot more stalls. We got drenched on the way there, Mr SA on his scooter and me on foot - it was a 4 mile walk! Walked into the city centre from there, had lunch then walked 3 miles back home. It did nothing but rain for the rest of the afternoon - what a washout.
Today I wanted to put my feet up a bit but have been mostly cleaning, cooking and the minute I put my feet up outside with my book it started raining again.
Tomorrow, weather permitting, we are going for a coffee at the local Costa, sitting outside with the dog, then going to Aldi. Living the high lifeWaiting for payday now - 31st of the month.

Time for an update. Tuesday did Zumba and Mr S big shop online. They've sent me 4 vouchers - £7.50 off £50 spend for the first 2 weeks, £10 off weeks 3 & 4, will be using these that's for sure.
Yesterday circuits, usual trainer has left, shame as she was good. New one ok so far.
Payday yesterday, paid off credit card and all bills accounted for. Need to do finances properly though at the weekend. Mr SA's money has gone in and DD will be paying her board tomorrow so need to get on top of things.
Had a letter from work confirming my TUPE transfer so should now be able to get the ball rolling with the remortgage. Next step is to get some quotes.
Eating a Special K double chocolate bar yesterday, seemed very crunchy, realised half a filling missing from toothSo dentists next Wednesday - annoying it's only 2 weeks ago since check up. Luckily I am on Denplan so no extra expense.
Today should've gone to WW but didn't go in the end, chickened out as I know I've put a pound on. Back on the case now though and I must go next week.
Mr SA has had headache today and felt weird. He fell off his scooter and into a main road this afternoon, luckily the cars stopped. Both of his knees are badly cut and sore now. I wish he'd take more care on that scooter, he's so careless.
Friday tomorrowI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Can you believe it Mr SA's scooter has another flat tyre
We tried ringing the scooter place yesterday - several times - no reply. So ...I rang Motability and complained about the dealer. They agreed service is bad and they are going to change the dealer for us. All weekend Mr SA has been without his scooter and possibly a few days next week depending on when it can be fixed. We were really looking forward to going to local gala today, only a 10 minute walk away for normal people. Decided to take Mr SA in his wheelchair plus the dog. Bear in mind I am 5ft 1 and 8st and he is 6ft 1 and 18st. Plus we live in a very hilly area. What an ordeal!! Better than any gym workout I can tell you! Made him walk some of the way on the way back as hills too steep so he was shattered. It took us an hour to do a 10 minute normal walk as he had to keep stopping for a rest. Gala was good but not worth all the hassle if I'm honest.
Back to work tomorrow and a very busy week ahead as I have to start covering for a higher grade job where they are short staffed due to people leaving. Should only be for a few weeks until they get replacements. Wish I could be one of the replacements but don't qualify to apply until TUPE in place - it's a job I could do for sure - such a shame.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

It has crossed my mind MFD as he's lost without it. However, if we had a decent dealer we shouldn't have to do this. Hopefully next dealer will be better. Need to keep a spare wheel though that's for sure.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
