I think he is Robin. I keep suggesting things he could do but he doesn't take me up on it. He's never been one for doing things on his own. At the moment he's obsessed with Can't pay we'll take it away.

Yesterday we took the dog to a local park then nipped to Aldi. It was such a warm sunny day I sat in the garden most of the afternoon.

Gym at lunchtime today and a no spend day :)

    Only 4 more work get-ups :)

Zumba yesterday and Mr S delivery £48 including the £10 off but will have to have a Mr M delivery on Friday as they substituted Mr SA's beer for a more expensive one which I rejected. Luckily I took advantage of the 6 months anytime delivery plan for £20 so won't have to pay £5 for a Friday delivery.

Circuits today and another NSD :) Got home from work to find back door wide open - Mr SA had been out to meet me from work so no one in the house. He'd left it open!! Luckily everything was OK. Sometimes I could throttle him.

Hmm, door left wide open while nobody's home isn't good these days..

Can't remember whether you've still got the option of having a carer for MrSA while you're at work? If so, once you're back from holiday maybe chose one who could take him swimming, dog-walking, help in the garden / with pond upkeep or - ha, of course - down to the coffee shop two or three times every week? ..Relieve his boredom in safety, and maybe even squeeze in a few useful tasks like hanging out washing or decorating perhaps, which MrSA could do under supervision?

ETA: ^^ Got to be a better option than throttling him! ;)

Oh Robin I wish he would agree to this. He's determined he doesn't need anyone "interfering". I'm dreading winter when he's more confined to the house as at the moment he's taking the dog out on his scooter and enjoying it. However, I bought him an all weather cover which he plans to put a hot water bottle inside when it's cold.

Another week flown by! At least I'm not bothered about it being Monday tomorrow as only two days at work then Wednesday off to have nails done and Thursday we go on holiday :j

Up early today got loads to do: get holiday stuff out, put summer clothes away, get winter clothes out, take dog out, menu plan, online food shop, etc. Hoping for another NSD which will make it 3 this week. :) All this going to the gym at lunchtime is saving me money.

Put a pound on at WW  Went to spin class on Friday. Yesterday went to local park with DS and grandkids, it was a lovely autumn day. DGD was enjoying riding on the scooter with Mr SA and kept saying "happy". She made us laugh when we told her to hold someone's hand while we were walking about and she said "no I'm ok thanks".

Hope everyone is having a good weekend - off to catch up with diaries now.

  • How depressing to have to put summer clothes away! At least you have the holiday to look forward to. Happy packing! Xx
