Hello all - we're back. The snow was only a light dusting so no delays setting off.

We've had a fab time, the weather was hot and sunny all week. The locals said they've had a hotter than normal winter this year. Glad it's quite mild here so too much of a shock to the system.

Got to clean up now, social worker coming after lunch. Will catch up with other diaries later.

    Hi Sun.A, :hello:

    Welcome home! :)

Sounds like you got the best of the weather recently; so glad to read that you and MrSA had a great holiday in the sun. :)

We've had grey days and chilly evenings while you've been away, culminating in a very disturbed night last night.
Clever Dog just couldn't settle: Wanted out, wanted in, out in out in - I was beginning to get a bit worried about her, until everything started rattling at five in the morning. That earthquake measured 6.3, but now I know there were shocks all night - CD could sense the smaller ones long before my pictures on the wall started swinging and our beds were shaking!

Oh dear that sounds awful Robin. Hope things have settle down now.

The social worker came and did her assessment on Mr SA and he is still adamant he doesn't need a carer. I rang the doctors to ask when his new medication starts and it should be ready sometime this week. They only received the letter from the neurologist on Friday. Mr SA has been very tired today and has just been sitting watching TV/sleeping while I've been cleaning, tidying, washing and ironing and walking the dog. Tomorrow we've got the pendant alarm people coming followed by the OT.

Back down to earth with a bump.

The carer is such a difficult one.
