Hello all
Everything is ok here. Not a lot to report. Stayed the same weight at WW much to my disappointmentI had been really good too. I've now been summonsed to hand in my completed tracker to the leader next week. I've upped my game by doing more exercise. Yesterday Inran on my treadmill for 20 minutes and today I did the 7 minute workout 3 times. This is on top of walking at least 10,000 steps a day.
Had an embarrassing moment Thursday when I tripped over an uneven paving slab on my way home from work. Fell flat on my face and smashed the bottle of wine I had in my shopping bag:( Good thing was 3 people rushed to help me. Felt a right idiot. Had to reassure people that the red fluid they saw seeping out was red wine not blood! Gutted about the loss of the wine
Today we have more or less been confined to barracks as it's poured down for most of the day. Bad news is the flat roof over the kitchen extension has a leakYet more expense - although DS has offered to help Mr SA sort it. Neither of them are flat roof specialists though but Mr SA thinks he knows what to do.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Boo to losing your vino, but happy you didn't hurt yourself when you tripped, Sun.A.
Boo also to leaky flat roof.. They don't seem to last very long - twenty years? - in the UK weather. Worth getting an expert in, as it's one of the easiest building jobs to muck up (and then very expensive to repair a bodge).
Am stuck inside today as well, due to ridiculously strong winds rather than rain, but rather frightening - don't want to get blown off a steep edge! CD is living up to her nick-name; staying on the sheltered side of the house when she needs to go out, even though it's the smallest patch of grass.0 -
