Hello all and thank you for all your messages.

He got the all clear again, no trace of Lymphoma :) However, the consultant was shocked at how bad his mobility has become so the good news is he's been referred to a neurologist. We mentioned the bowel trouble too and it all points to brain problems which is not his consultant's area of expertise, he is a blood cancer specialist. Hopefully we'll now get somewhere.

Everything seems to be moving for Mr SA now. His care review is the day after we come back from holiday and the OT is coming on Monday.

I am also putting wheels in motion towards my New Year goals. I bought and started doing the new Davina dvd yesterday. I like it so far and I can feel it in my backside today. I trotted off to WW tonight, was looking forward to it, got there only to find it's tomorrow not today. D'oh! Will try again tomorrow.

So glad to hear MrSA is still NED and his current needs are being addressed at last. Next time get a carer who can take him swimming, and teach him how to help around the house while you're at work. ;)

Don't worry about not feeling 'beach-ready' on holiday - with the way the weather forecast is looking, a nice warm jacket will be of more use than a bikini.. :o

    Hello

Went AWOL in December... Will explain in my diary.

I hope you have a lovely holiday, and hope that the New Year, will bring you both the right support you need.

    Take Care

Ps I think the laptop was a great use of your careers allowance as you use the web to "get away"
As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
What does the saying say.... When life hands you lemons, make lemonade
Or as my Mum would say, brush yourself down, tomorrow is another day or
Fake it, to you Make It

Please say hello my new diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6578460/still-dancing-to-blow-the-debt-clouds-away
