    Hello all

I joined Weightwatchers again on Thursday. Nearly chickened out but SO glad I didn't. Yes as I suspected I've put back on the stone I lost 14 years ago but I WILL lose it again with the new plan, the leader is very encouraging and the other people in the meeting were lovely -I got talking to a couple of women and I enjoyed the evening out.

So I feel like I'm sorting this part of my life. Just need to get a plan in place regarding finances now.

Mr SA - apparently he needs an urgent scan of his spine. Don't know why but the scan place say his consultant has ordered it ASAP. So the day before we go on holiday he's having a scan :( They won't wait until after.

    Hey ho!

    Evening SA,

Good on you for joining WW, if anyone can do it you certainly can :D.

Oohhh I wonder why they want an urgent scan of his spine, will wait to hear from you about that!

So glad to hear MrSA is still NED and his current needs are being addressed at last. Next time get a carer who can take him swimming, and teach him how to help around the house while you're at work. ;)

Don't worry about not feeling 'beach-ready' on holiday - with the way the weather forecast is looking, a nice warm jacket will be of more use than a bikini.. :o

As always Robin is spot on.

Glad things are moving, hope the scan is helpful in terms of helping improve things and enjoy the hols

Wondering if the urgency of the scan is down to the consultant's shock reaction to Mr SA being wheeled in in a wheelchair. He'd rather hoped Mr SA would be having a better quality of life.

Robin - Lanzarote is currently 24 degrees and sunny in the day but I know from experience a jacket will be needed at night in January - 14 degrees currently at night.

Have been sticking to my WW points even this weekend and feel so much better for it. I am so glad I bit the bullet and rejoined. However I will not be a bore on holiday but might be swayed towards wise choices.

Well my case is packed more or less as won't have much time in the week or next Saturday now we'll be at the hospital. Plus I'm having my nails done Saturday morning. I can't believe this time next week we'll be there. I rang Jet2 today and ordered a bottle of champagne to be delivered to our seat on the way out to celebrate Mr SA still being in remission - he doesn't know so he'll be chuffed.
