    Thanks Lucky and Beanie.

Been quiet mostly although DS, GF and GD came Sunday, also SIL, enjoyed the company. Lots of the buffet food got wasted though, mental note to only put out crisps and sausage rolls in future. Picked up new laptop yesterday, it's up and running and I'm very pleased with it. Already listed all my toiletries in an Excel spreadsheet plus started budget one.

    Will update properly tomorrow.

  • Loving the laptop and spreadsheets.

We have too much chocolate here which isn't a problem really lets face it.

I put some of the stuff Mum bought in the freezer so there will be some random food combinations coming up!

Are you still off work? hope so

Thanks all. Buffy I'm off work until 5 January. Missing my walking to work and back though, although I've been walking the dog lots.

I'm posting via my new laptop. Much quicker on a keyboard than the iPad dibber thing. We've been in town today for a coffee and I was determined we would be going for lunch as we're not going out tonight - not after last year's New Year's Eve shenanigans. Last NYE we went out for a lovely meal with Mr SA's brother and his girlfriend and some of their friends. I had a lovely time, had a good laugh, but Mr SA ruined it by accepting too many drinks and it took 3 of us to get him back home. I was so embarrassed. So this year we're staying in. My NYE outfit will consist of a nightie, dressing gown and slippers. We do have a nice bottle of champagne though. Anyway I'm off track now - we went for lunch in our local on the way back from town and it was nice but Mr SA struggled with the very short walk back home and by the time we got to the front door it was too late he couldn't make it to the toilet in time. We have asked doctors etc many times why every time he exerts himself he loses control of his bowels but we never get a proper answer. He feels very embarrassed about it. He's been in bed since we got home.

Really need to lose a few pounds, I daren't weigh myself. Seriously thinking about re-joining Weight Watchers next week. I just feel so sluggish. Need to get back to my exercise regime too as I've let that slide over the last few weeks. Holiday is 2 weeks on Sunday and I am NOT beach body ready at all!

Need to come up with some plans.

Hope everyone has a good New Year's Eve and let's hope 2016 brings us all something good.

See you are wearing the same outfit as me this NYE. Plus OH is in bed snoring his head off, anybody would think it was him in work all day today instead of me. Anyway nice cup of coffee on the go as I am on taxi duty later, think I will have a little drink tomorrow night.

Have decided 2016 is the year I get fitter and healthier, even debating going to the gym tomorrow as its open from 10 o'clock in the morning.xx

More people in pjs here, large sloe gin and singing along with Jules Holland and his guests, it has become a bit of a tradition for OH and I, haven't been out for years as we have always had fur babies (dogs) who were frightened of fireworks.

Happy New Year and a holiday for you to look forward too, hope you have a great time.
