    No one visits us cos Mum worries about the state of the house (hence my obsession with tidying!) it does get a bit hard when you'd like some company

    Last Christmas mum was living with us and we had loads of visitors, and I loved it.


    This year she's in a lovely care home, but we've had no visitors.


    Mum, sister and sister's partner and coming Christmas day, my two sons and their families are coming Boxing Day, for a few hours.

    I'd like loads of visitors too Satchmo either that or be invited to someone else's who put a good spread on - the latter has never happened. All I'm thinking is 3 weeks on Sunday and we'll be in Lanzarote, should've gone for Christmas really but (a) it's too expensive and (b) it would mean DD being on her own at Christmas.

    I am the opposite, I love a quiet peaceful xmas. think this is because I work in retail upto late on xmas eve so I am ready for some peace and quiet. If I was in a cottage in the middle of nowhere with just my DH I would love it. Have told my lot the next three days I am not doing much.


    Have got my gorgeous GD staying over tonight , she is 2 and is adorable, then tomorrow MIL & SIL are coming over for tea, so not very peaceful here, but know the next couple of days will be relaxing.


    Hope you and Mr SA manage to enjoy yourselves.xx
