Thanks to you both
As the weather here today is so lovely again I'm taking a day's leave from work. I have set up sunbed in garden, have a book, magazines and radio and am going to spend most of the day relaxing for once instead of doing. Catch up with you all later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Morning SA,
Good news that you are feeling better and then DH is feeling better too. I think its really good that they are feeding them good healthy meals as they need their strength and rubbish that theyre not going to eat isnt going to help is it!!!

Evening all!
Had a lovely day sunning myself in the garden with dog. Dog also got 3 walks. What a glorious day!
Hospital visit went ok - Mr SA is just the same, still on track to start chemo, a little confused at times but he is aware of this. He had got out of bed in the night and fallen over again - I think this must be the replacement for the pulling out of his feeding tube - he's always up to something. He is now in new lower bed. Told him to stay put!!! He has asked for extra physio so will be getting this starting tomorrow.
On the budgeting front things aren't going great. Seem to be spending money like water at the moment. Need to slow down as once the money has gone it's gone and I really want to pay some more off debt before next payday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
So glad DH is feeling brighter.
A day in the garden was probably just what the doctor ordered for you.
Good luck to your DH for the start of treatment at the end of the week.0 -

Wasn't it a beautiful day yesterday? Am so glad to read that you took some time to replenish your soul in the sunshine, Sun.A, and am certain Dog enjoyed your company too!Sun_Addict wrote: »Hospital visit went ok - Mr SA is just the same, still on track to start chemo, a little confused at times but he is aware of this. All sounds very positive; keeping digits crossed that nothing delays the start of chemo - sooner the better, eh?Sun_Addict wrote: »On the budgeting front things aren't going great. Hmm yes, priorities change, don't they? Well done for being aware of the speed at which funds can leak away, and good luck with beating down the debt while so much else is going on in your life. (((hugs)))0 -
Thank you both
Back to work today but don't mind as weather a bit dull and damp so not missing anything. At the moment I'm waiting for my Mr T delivery between 9 and 10 - hopefully closer to 9!
Mr SA was a bit off colour tonight. He'd had a PET scan which had given him backache as he was laid on a hard board. They had given him painkillers but these were wearing off. He is still coughing quite a bit and is wheezy but he says the doctor says his chest is clear. He was also very tired tonight. His sister was worrying too much about him and fussing a lot. I told her I see him every day and some days he is a bit off. I've got used to it but she is insisting on visiting again tomorrow to settle her mind - big sisters eh!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Sometimes the other visitors are more problematic than the patient! My MIL was the same XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
