why dont you pop to Gp to see if he will sign you of work for a few days. Your body has gone through a great shock with Hubbys Health. Your bodies giving you a cold to say chill out relax.

If you could concentrate on getting yourself back to fitness - put work on a back burner for a few days. So your body can catch up with itself.

If you think of it you have been forced to a new role due to hubbys illness -
you are main bread winner/ carer/parent to your crew coping with ther needs propably before your own.
On top of that hospital visits fears of unknown road ahead.
Dealing with hospital politics . Along with husbands fears/
childrens although adults . Friends fears not knowing what to say to you. House hold finance. Also finding time to update your blog.

I hope I have not upset you and spoke out of line.

But having got this' T shirt' and riding on this train journey on yours side of the seat. If you ever need a fellow passenger to chat with - who is online or other .. I am here

Please take care and look after your self when you can

Aw thank you all I'm really touched!

Still don't feel great but not ill enough to take time off work. If I keep my distance from Mr SA tonight and try not to cough or sneeze then I should be ok. I think I caught this cold from his sister as she had it last week.

Don't worry Andrea you haven't upset me or spoken out of line. You know what I'm going through so thanks for your support.

    Hi SA

You are really coping brilliantly, in every area (ok, maybe not in the insurance claim form front, hehe).

Ask at the nurses station for a face mask so that you don't pass your cold onto Mr SA. I did that when I had a sore throat and was visiting my then-DH when he was in hospital post-near-critical car-accident. I also got antibiotics from my GP, without seeing him (phoned him and got my mum to bring them to me... doesn't sound much, but I was in Germany at the time, GP was in UK, he was fantastic, as was my mum - she had planned to come out already).
    Hugs
