Hugs to you and your family.
Hope this week will be a healthier week for your crew.

Pace yourself dont be too hard on your self - if things take time -they will . So what

chillax when you can , even if only in your mind and dreams

Hope fully my hubby will have his op today- change of plans not to take him into hospital at 0715 but to wait phone call from secretary at 10.30 to see if they have bed (surgeon has any theatre time left)

He still has to change his meds routine and fast just incase he goes to theatre. Stressy times here. As you can see from time of posting at silly oclock

Mr SA looked a lot better tonight. He can now eat pureed food and thickened drinks. BUT - they have told him he's got cancer in brain and now he's more with it he's scared. They told him he is to move to cancer unit in another hospital soon for treatment. He shed a few tears and I reassured him they say it's treatable. He says he's felt ill since he found out. Who wouldn't?

Payday tomorrow and I need to set myself a strict budget and stop this willy-nilly spending. I've got a Mr T order coming Wednesday night and I've just been ruthless and shaved over £10 off the original order. If it can wait until next week then it's off the list.

Hello all! Thanks for thinking about me.

Andrea - he has had biopsy (it was this that caused the brain bleed unfortunately). He has lymphoma - not operable but responds well to chemo apparently. He has had full body scan which revealed small blood clots in lungs, not related, which have now been treated. Maybe caused by something chemical he inhaled at work. I've met his consultant but as he is moving to another hospital for chemo so there will be a whole new bunch of medics to meet. Sorry to hear your hubby's op didn't go ahead - what a pain in the ***.

He has been texting me today so this is a good sign. Unfortunately I woke up this morning with sore throat and feeling rough - hope I will be ok to visit tonight.

Today is payday so I've paid another £40 off Barclaycard - this now stands at £1510. I should be paying off around £300 per month to get rid of this by the end of August when 0% ends. Can't really commit to paying all this today as I don't know what's going to happen but will try to aim for around £75 per week if I can afford it. I will just let the minimum go off the other card as the 0% on this doesn't finish until 2015. Will tackle this once the Barclaycard has gone.

Woo hoo! £20 better off this month due to tax going down! I've worked out I have about £600 per month left after paying bills (this includes DD's board money). No idea how much to allow for groceries but am trying to keep this to a minimum.

Felt really ill today - woke up with sore throat, headache and aching. Thought I wouldn't be able to visit Mr SA but knew how devastated he'd be if I didn't. At least I'm not coughing and sneezing (yet!).

His consultant ushered me into her office and my heart sank but it was just to say how pleased she is with his progress and he will be moving to the other hospital next week sometime. He will be going straight to chemo ward he's not going to rehab unit first now.

I am going to have a soak in the bath in a minute and have an early night as I still feel rough.
