No I'm hoping we'll be ok. We're flying from East Midlands and sometimes you have to walk across the runway to the plane but I'm hoping for once there'll be a tunnel. He thinks he'll be ok as long as he can take his time.

    Hello all we're back!!!

I thought I'd managed to send a post from Lanzarote but it's not there so obviously not.

We had a fab time, the weather was gorgeous, wall to wall sunshine every single day and hot. Mr SA was fine on the whole. He fell over a few times as the pavements are very uneven and the road leading up to the villa was steep. He struggled with the hills and had to sit down on walls every so often to catch his breath but he made it all the same. He didn't feel confident enough to go for a swim which was a shame as the pool was like a bath. He got confused with directions and forgot where we were sitting in restaurants a few times. He also struggled with his button up shorts and I am still cringing at the sight of him walking through a restaurant on the way back from the gents with his boxers on show. The thing is to those who don't know him he appears drunk. He staggers and he slurs his words - which just goes to show you can never make assumptions. The waiters struggled to hear his very low voice and I had to speak for him. I also had to cut his meat for him as he can't do it for himself which he's embarrassed about in public. But despite these things he had a great time and it did him the world of good. The villa was absolutely wonderful - 4 bedrooms, quite new, private pool and a normal person's 10 minute walk to the start of the main "strip" in Puerto del Carmen (it took Mr SA a lot longer!!). It was also very close to the harbour.

Anyway back to the real world. I haven't had chance to look at my bank yet but it's on the list. I've been cleaning up and unpacking most of the day. Also need to catch up with everyone's diaries.

Might be back later with finances dealings.
