Thank you ladies!
I've had a nice day today. Asda order arrived at 8.30 am so went into town. Had to go anyway to return faulty iron to John Lewis. Had coffee and croissant, bought a lovely necklace and bracelet stack from Argento (my fave shop) for £10 for the both and then braved it to go in bar on my own for a glass of wine. Went to hospital early today - SIL met me off bus with Mr SA who was walking albeit pushing his wheelchair. Do you know I don't think it will be long before he's back home. He is really picking up now. At the moment I am relaxing on the sofa with a glass of cava and watching a brilliant firework display on the park across the road out of my window without the need to stand in the cold! X Factor on too with disco night! Bliss!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Apart from hospital visit and walking dog I am spending today at home catching up with what I didn't do yesterday. Already placed Mr A order for next Saturday. Will try and fit in an exercise session, make some soup for work lunches and there's plenty of cleaning to do. As I have mentioned before my aim is to be DF by 31 December 2014. My current debt is £3000 and there are 14 paydays until then so this means I need to pay off at least £215 a month from now onwards. Should be do-able. Might struggle a bit when Mr SA comes home as he will need feeding, he's lost loads of weight so he'll need a few new clothes and he will want to go out for the odd coffee or pub lunch. I'm going to ask social worker if she thinks he might be able to claim PIP. Even if it's just a bit it will be better than nothing. The rules say he can't claim while he's in hospital and he needs to be going to be disabled for at least the next 7 months. No idea how long they expect him to be like this for but I'm sure someone will have an idea. More than anything it's his brain that's the problem.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Everything is breaking down/not working! Home and work! I don't need to worry about the work things breaking down as I don't have to pay to get them fixed - but it is very frustrating. Mr SA's razor has stopped working - guaranteed for a year - ran out August. Washing machine now on the blink. Can't remember when I bought it but not had it much over 2 years. Need to dig out receipt tonight to see if there's any guarantee left on it (got it from John Lewis and their guarantees are usually pretty long). Unbelieveable! More expense! GRR!
One good thing is that Mr SA is still recovering well.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
